Oh man, just cancelled my m2c 2 months ago. Went to open a new rhb account for debit card to use spay. Now Spay got promo to win Note 8 with mbb card. Need to go open mbb account again.

Too many cards. Decided to lighten my wallet.

Damn... forgot only can get points every 5 minutes.

Even at the machine there written mastercard contactless... visa wont go through... tried already with physical card.

Just told them pay wave and then just tab.

Finding myself enjoying it. Ever since I cut my Wise card due to high spending requirement, I don't really care anymore about cashback. Most are awful 1%. Using Spay is simple and I even purposely open an RHB account for their debit card. No need to think about monthly statement and repayment. I think I'm gonna cut the rest of my cards except pbb vs (for 6% off online spending) and ambank which offer free supp card in case my wife needs it.

How to use mst? Just tag like normal except at the swiping part?

This rhb debit card really spoilt the mode for me. Only can use paywave for 10 times then must use pin to reset the counter.

Is this something implemented long ago? I really only wish to use exclusively with Samsung Pay since its also an ATM card for security reason.

Today swipe twice at mcd also denied... do not honor.

I only swipe tens of ringgit each time. 3-4 times a day.

I made another call to confirm RHB debit card limits.

Transaction per day : 10
Max Limit : RM250

I did neither but my card was still blocked which sucks. Yes, Im swiping 3-5times per day to get 50 transactions but mostly on mcd, guardians, aeonbig. Most are <RM25. Only did 2 transaction over RM50 so far. Still sucks... I do not bring my card out since I was planning for 100% Samsung Pay since CC dont really give much benefits nowadays. Besides its a good way to separate own spending from claimable one (like petrol, servicing). It sucks when banks are trying to promote half heartily especially with a debit card. Have few K inside but unable to use it.

Why surprised? It's to safe guard your card since everyone can see them. A virtual card that represent your real card. The real card still show the actual number when choosing.

Oh, my bad. I didn't explain properly.

Paywave limit per day is RM250 or 10 times whichever comes first. That was what I'm being told. However my card was still blocked when I didn't break both conditions. Using the physical card with pin would reset the counter for 10 transactions (tested by using card to pump RM1 petrol and paywave instantly reactivate). Not sure about resetting paywave RM250 limit. Using non paywave would be advisable for transaction over RM250 but never tried yet.

BTW I want to ask those using MST before. Usually those manual one need to enter card then only key in amount. Like those also tap at the magnetic there first then only key in? Because want to try at a diner yesterday but she also not sure how to do. End up decline.

Today I tried BHP since many people say can. Really a lot of explanation to them what's Samsung Pay. In the end show them the card screen and say paywave. Foreigner staff surprised can pay. It's really troublesome unless you have Master card I guess (since the terminal outside support contactless for master card).

Today tested Secret Recipe. No problem. They want to know from which bank though.

Are you using RHB debit card too? This is exactly why I'm complaining. I even write them a hate mail to show my dissatisfaction. Do not honor means your contactless is being blocked. Every time it happened, you need to use physical card with pin for 1 transaction. Then only it will re-activate contactless.

If you want the cheapest way to unblock then can try my method. I use the physical card plus pin to fill RM1 petrol at Petronas.

Apparently they got a counter for this if you're using RHB debit card (I wad told credit card too).

10 times contactless in a row in a single day will automatically block the contactless transactions. You need to use physical card plus pin for 1 transaction to unblock.

Limit is RM250 for 1 day from what the CS told me. This is for contactless. If pin plus card then will be much higher.

This is what I'm being told BUT I'm still blocked despite not using more than 10 times or more than RM250. Not sure if they got other requirements. Sucks since I'm using it 100% for Spay

Tonight bought more than RM250 (4 transaction) with my RHB debit card. The last one was the biggest amount around RM180. Not sure if they will block tomorrow. Think I will go pump RM1 petrol just to be safe.

RM200 can do what? Now just want to get to 50 transactions. This month a bit rush since only has 14 days since I opened my RHB account. Next month should be better.

Use credit card also lock, debit card also same. Not sure if there's any reason to complain. Not like they will cheat you or the RM200 will earn you lots of interest. Don't be too kiasu man.

One forumer already said internet problem you won't get points. Anyway it felt like curse as I also kena just now. Went to Tesco Selayang and bought some 100 plus. Got points. Then repeat it but feel weird to walk to the same counter. Thus I walked to the counter at the end and the internet probably bad there. End up didn't get any points for the 2nd purchase.

Now I know which to avoid. Those underground one better avoid.

RM1 not using Samsung Pay. Just using normal pin to reset debit card limitation.

Today went to bhp in desa jaya to pump. I'm surprised they knew about Samsung Pay. Very smooth. I thought those beside highway or busy road will know about Samsung Pay but they didn't.
