the reason it did not work with manual type is because you configure in the incomplete info....

even the barcode have different type, eg Barcode, QRCode, Code 128, EAN13....etc


you need to know the original loyalty card is use what type code, then only manual type the code.

yours one is one heck of a long barcode.

try to see if you can spot which one is yours

another way is just scan it using the Samsung Pay barcode scanner, i think it should able to identified which one, instead of using manual key in the code.

one thing to note is that you need to keep the brightness of your screen, range from medium to full brighness for fast scan.

i notice that if i put low brightness, the scan of barcode become very slow and sometimes error.

i think some should have weird number.....my Airline using QRCode, after scan also come out weird character

i think maybe part of the barcode which our naked eye cant decode....only barcode scanner.

if you see your barcode printed number only 16 character....but your barcode is more than that



when you see the weird character, does part of the number inside the weird character? the scanned barcode [line] inside Samsung Pay match your printed one?

yeah, you are right...i try to scan it....everytime i scan it....it change to different code confused.gif confused.gif

i manually type in, seems like code 39 looks like yours....doesn't seems to be ITF

those two you mention would never happen.

samsung surely know someone would do "creative" transaction to achieve 50 transaction

and there is no way you or samsung able to stop it unless they comeout with a more creative rules to negate the creative transaction.

anyone using Gear S3 know the correct position to tap your watch?

i got a weird feel that, the more i try to get faster response tap, the more faster error i get.....

it's not i move from terminal too quickly, after i have changed my tapping position, i get error so fast that i don't even have a chance to move away my watch before i get the error.

slower compare to phone? you tap your watch, watch face facing?

error happens more frequent when i tap like that.........ok, not 100% like that....sometimes 45 degree(because of the NFC terminal is sometimes too deep inside), but still face watch top side, watch band area facing most of the time.

when i was naively tap wrongly with watch face facing, altho very very slow....but most of the time time no error

after i change to this position, altho is very very fast....also error more faster.

if your purpose is to ask them to refers to the credit card receipt for credit card number, normally it doesn't work

some is really insist on credit card information for them to complete the transaction.

bank negara never allow it, they even mention before merchant are not allowed to impose minimum charges.

it's not a law, but it's something like a mini rule by BNM that merchant are suppose to follow if they decide to opt for credit card payment.

you can complain to merchant bank, if doesn't work, then association of bank, they will blacklist the merchant...or something like that....

only thing is enforcement is very weak.

No MINIMUM amount

that is the most ridiculous reason(Company management).

the original purpose of signature is to verify the person, eg, the physical card signature is the same as the signature sign on receipt, but i never ever see any cashier compare the signature on the card vs the receipt.

if swipe does not accept, does that mean they don't accept US customer that are still using magnetic stripe credit card?

this morning till noon i lost 2 transaction, not recorded in Samsung Pay.

this afternoon i made another transaction, instantaneous updated.....i assume my previous 2 transaction is gone, need to call CS already.
