this is non official from me....in order for you to get point, you need to have samsung phone that can register for Spay account in order to log the point (Both Gear 3 and Samsung Phone have to use same Samsung account for Spay in order for you to collect point)

you can try ask your friend who have Samsung phone to register for you, but in the end you still need Samsung Phone to check point and redeem point, unless you want to keep bother your friend to login and out to check your point and redeem point.

Note: even tho official statement say cannot, unless someone who have both Samsung Pay eligible phone and Gear 3 cannot collect reward point to proof me wrong, i am able to collect point with Gear 3

Your phone SPay app initiate before or after Gear 3?
The point is reflected in your phone SPay app, not in Samsung Gear app internal SPay

The screenshot you guys give are Samsung gear internal Samsung pay app, don't really count.

Did you guys actually initiate Samsung Pay app from your phone before? If yes, before or after you got Gear 3 Spay?

when you say never shown points collect by S3 you mean inside your phone Spay, the point don't increment?

because in my phone Spay, the details of transaction on Gear S3 didn't display, only show aggregated point and how many transaction done this month, thats how i see my point.

as you can see my last transaction on the phone is Jan 25,

Feb all using Gear 3, on the point summary have 11 transaction + total point for Feb, thats all Gear S3 point

If still doesn't see, then i can only say Spay malaysia sucks, i think they didnt enable in Malaysia or maybe later in the future.

because i am using US(Phone)SG(Gear 3) with (Malaysia & SG Card) and i am collecting point like nobody business.

i cannot see whats offered by SME, the only reward i can redeem is their gift card or reward card, something like cash voucher.

I didn't read about any restriction on international card on any region SPAY,

From my understanding it should work as long as the card you have coming from bank that support SPAY, as Everytime you try to add a card, it would route back to your local bank for sms verification

What kind of error message did you get?

well, they ask too much for people(Bank, developer) to use their technology(NFC) or to transact monetary transaction on their iphone, it's no brainer it won't progress as much

as compare to Samsung Pay, which i assume they sort of like free, in term of no transaction fee towards Bank or developer

Alipay and Wechat was pull off by Apple, from App store, not pull out themself............that was couple month ago.....not sure what happen now.

last i heard is they(Wechat) remove the monetary transaction feature on the app only Apple allow them to go back in the apple store since they don't want to pay the fee.....

at one point China people were asked, can you live without WeChat/AliPay or IPhone, alot people say cannot live without WeChat/AliPay, they can gladly switch to Android to use WeChat/AliPay.

Kinda stupid for apple to do that and backfired at them.

I have 50-50% success on those machine...
Works at couple of Petronas outlet, but failed on some others...
Just now tried to pay my roadtax (coz i forgot my wallet in my car)... Two tries..

my experience with this error message is when your phone is too far, or orientation of your phone is not correct.

eg....normally i would tap my phone vertical, then suddenly i change my phone orientation to side horizontal.

after i change abit the orientation or move back to the original position most of the time i have success or move abit nearer then it become successful

and this is with those old old machine, no nfc

just as the error mention, it literally mean incorrect card information probably due to incomplete card information by the way you tap your phone.(Happen to NFC machine as well, when the machine have both MST or NFC, i move too close to both or too far away from either 1)

hmmmm......i am using LTE version because mine is from SG.....

i have read that it has nothing to do with the phone region, more to the watch.

even US version watch i heard got few don't support SPay entirely.

my guess is that, even if Malaysia watch(Bluetooth version) pair to my US phone, i maybe cannot get point as well probably due to the way different model sync to Samsung Pay.

i have 1 credit card can tap more than RM250 without any pin.

1 merchant successfully pass through a >RM250 transaction, while another cannot ( Terminal hard limit), both never ask me for pin

both using NFC

the bank never call you to verified if it is a valid transaction? eventho it will work, but bank still work in the background to monitor for fraud, especially this unusual high value transaction.
