I've already change them. Do I still need the stock password?

Hah... PC stuff sometimes quite troublesome. Thanks in advance.
*
the password you've changed is just wifi password. Unifi password is given by Telekom, is unique and unchangeable from normal user. smile.gif

QUOTE(Mubarak90 @ Dec 7 2016, 03:59 PM)
A question though, does all unifi setup requires the connection of 3 boxes? 1 modem, 1 router and 1 hypp tv. Can we not only have 2 boxes (modem + router and hypp tv)?
*
To watch HyppTV, you'll need all 3 of the boxes.

If you're only using the internet, you can switch off the HyppTV box.

If we buy a new router, means it will only replace the router box only? Not it will have both router and modem on a single box?
Thanks too for the info. thumbup.gif

from what i heard, the upgrade happens in backend upgrade and is on best effort basis.

meaning, after u got upgraded to 100mbps, if the area cannot support 100mbps, you're still stucked at 50mbps or any speed serving your area.

same goes to congested areas. after upgraded to 50mbps, but the area still congested with average speed of 20mbps+, you're stucked with that.

the speed and actual experience is NOT GUARANTEED. they only guarantee upgrade from their side, not premise side.
*
this one is LPPL.. cakap upgraded bandwidth but still on Best Effort Basis.. memang no reliability on the upgrade.

still dunno whether i'm eligible or not..  rclxub.gif

does this mean that I (unifi advance 50 subscriber since December 2015) will get free upgrade to 100mbps soon?

I don't really mind if not eligible, 50mbps is more than enuff for the whole house to be honest  sweat.gif  sweat.gif
*
I'm in the same position as well. Upgraded to 30mbps package last year November. But I read the T&C, it states 'only for new subscribers in Dec 2016'... dry.gif dry.gif dry.gif

Yupe. Only replace the router.

Modem, just use the Telekom one. Anything bad happens, there's warranty too. biggrin.gif

Nope. That one is router login password to do setting.

To check for your Unifi password, just call 100 to retrieve your Unifi username & password. Below there's a video to let you understand better.

In the video at minute 1:23, that's where you need your Unifi password to set up the connection.

For you all who are confused about the T&C, or still wondering whether you are eligible for the upgrade or not, don't worry.

If you are eligible for the free upgrade, TM will send you a message mentioning the term "Thank You Surprises". Some received email, some received SMS. Either one. As for me, I received the message via SMS.
