Great to hear I am not the only one haha! Too bad I can't afford VR right now.  sad.gif  This upgrade from PS4 first gen to PS4 Pro will probably cause me around RM 1000 at least, depending on how much I can sell my first gen PS4 later. sweat.gif But if it improves visual and gameplay smoothness then it is worth it. Can hopefully last 2-3 years which by then maybe PS5 come out already.  tongue.gif

Yes the pro is worth it. When I played Rise of the Tomb Raider with it's high framerate mode, the game is super smooth with 60fps and the visual quality improved a lot when I switched it to enriched visuals mode.

Skyrim is my personal favourite. The graphics looks so much better on the pro compared to running on the original ps4. drool.gif

It depends on your TV mode. Your TV must be HDR able to utilize PS4 HDR capability

Most 4k have this function available, but not all.

I think the most correct way is to check the TV model whether is HDR enabled or not.

Not quite sure the Full HD TV can be HDR enable. hmm.gif

Here's some of the latest comparisons between Pro and base PS4.

Rise of the Tomb Raider

The Last Guardian

Battlefield 1

Gravity Rush 2

Diablo III

Currently there is still no way to record footage with HDR but these 5 games don't have HDR function. Though I would recommend with all tech upgrades, don't listen to what others say. Go to a store, find a Pro and test it out yourself.

It depends on how the developer patch the game for the pro. Some games like Skyrim, I can see a difference while other games like FF15, I don't see any improvement except the fan on my pro doesn't sound like a jet engine now compared to my old ps4. tongue.gif

With a 4K tv, you can see a bigger difference. I bought my pro to use with my PSVR and since I can see a difference on some of the non-vr games I played, it's like a bonus to me. I have no intention of buying a 4K tv until some clown invents 8K and prices drop to 1080p tv level. tongue.gif

and good luck trying to find a shop to test the pro. whistling.gif

I don't think there's much incentives for developers to patch older games. Most will probably just focus on the new games.
I just hope developers doesn't forget the base PS4 owners sweat.gif
