Good to hear that the wounds have dried out. Now the annoying part is when the skin pulls as it stretches. Kinda helps to apply aloe vera to soften the scabs so they won't reopen when your skin stretches

Bah. my 45km ride got interrupted by rain sad.gif started raining on the 3km, sheltered at a petrol station for 2 1/2 hours before heading back. only 6 km today instead of the expected 45

The skin pull thing is not that annoying for now except for the tigh part. I do pull out few of the dry skin if possible or else leave it to drop by itself. I hope the bike repair cost wont be that expensive since the rear derailuer will rub the wheel spoke when i put into the Highest (easist) gear.

IF helmet offers no aero advantage I believe the pros would not even bother putting it on.. On the pros they simply don't care about their life to fight for the champions.. Safety is the last thing they would be concern off unless it's made mandatory..

I remember some rider complain about overheating with helmet on during the climbing on mount ventoux. Until someone died then UCI made it compulsory

The reason in few post above is the reason why i took up cycling while in Aus. Some of the driver there are idiots but then still better than in KL. There a dedicated bike lane and certain palce where there signboard remind driver to take note of cyclist.

My face also kena as in long streak over my lips and a ding mark on my right cheek. I so worried my face will get deformed and I will lose my good looks. Thankfully now it is healed and most ppl wont see any noticeable marks there unless u see VERY closely. I was thankful i was wearing sunglasses during the crash as the frame was scratched badly and the lens were scratched too. Cant imagine I got into the crash without it sad.gif Thankfully no broken bone or teeth unsure.gif

After the crash i had to take public bus to nearest clinic to do dressing on my wound while the wound bleeding out ohmy.gif t

if you're referring to those for when your wounds are healing, try visiting any local pharmacy to ask about it.
oh btw. keeping wounds moist helps with the healing, contrary to the view about drying them out. notice that any small cuts or wounds that you get in the drier climate in Australia tends to heal slower?
*
Hmm dont really notice but now i am in KL and thosoe folks in clinic recommend me to leave it open air. But the nurse in Aus said that its better to leave it moist like u said. hmm.gif
