Powerbanks and Built-in Battery Casing is not in this group yaaa...
Gotta blame you for hole in my pocket as I just purchased p2 grey from gemfive. I hope it doesn't disappoints as I would be making p2 my main phone and shifting from Redmi note 3 pro.
Will the p2 box be sealed? Or open as Redmi note 3 pro?

Anyone facing display issue with Lenovo P2? It seems that display quadrant towards bottom right corner is brighter? It kind of give a gradient effect on the screen instead of a similar brightness across the whole screen. This can be checked by watching a page with dark grey (not black) background at lower brightness.

P2 is more "reliable" than RN3P 3GB... It's worth every penny...

Care to share the so called "dark grey background" pix/sample...?
At the moment my unit's S-AMOLED display is at par with my current Note5 in terms of colour, contrast and brightness.
I'm sharing my "pure_pitch_black" background/wallpaper which will be user-friendly to the S-AMOLED, the eyes and of course the energy consumption rate. This is the smallest file you can get from the net.

I'm just browsing through xda labs app with dark theme... It looks like the attached picture, not sure if you can see... Below the green line, it's a little bit brighter fur the background... Doesn't happen to my old phone... Just wanted to confirm whether I'm having a defective unit
That's the error of GeekBench 3 app... for my case, it just can't save or upload the result to the server... my unit can get around 20 hours S0T with 5% battery left... Guess the P2 has broken the Guinness Book of World Record ... LOL...
P2 = Pink Bunny.... = 4 times endurance

OK... if you are talking of "shades" of light (not bleeding yaaa...) when in a pitch dark room, my Sammy Note 5 has this "effect" as well. It is kind of "screen burn" but not permanent. It's the nature of all AMOLED panels. However, my P2 "temporary burn" is not as prominent as my Note 5. Maybe the unit is still new. Over time, it will be having the same "temporary burn" effect.

Maybe this would help...?
Thank you for your clarification on this "effect"... First time having a phone with AMOLED display javascript:emoticon('')

Well, if the shades effect is worsen, make use of the 1 year warranty...
I am also keep monitoring this China-based AMOLED panel quality. So far so good. At par with Sammy/LG AMOLED panel... Hopefully it will last more than 3 years...
It is official Malaysian set. How was your set when you buy it new ? Sealed ?
Sealed.... But I purposely asked the promoter to open the box on the spot to check any missing or damage from the factory... Everything was in order...
So far, all are Ori Malaysia set from Era International Network Sdn Bhd... No AP set as of now...

My unit, the shades is more on bottom left quadrant... (may need to use colour-picker tool to detect the hexadecimal tones....)

For my unit, there is no thin plastic wrap covering the whole box. The seal here means there is "Lenovo" white round sticker at both sides of the box.
As for Xiaomi package, the whole box is sealed/wrapped with thin plastic. LeMoto don't do this AFAIK...so, the box might get dirty easily... Don't be alarmed to see the new box is not looking like new...LOL...
