Hey guys recently my "S" key requires me to press really really hard to register using my 1+ year old Razer Black Widow Chroma. I can't replace an entire keyboard because of this even though its damn annoying. So i was looking for away to fix it instead, perhaps with a Cherry Switch MX or if anyone can suggests anything else. I was looking high and low for anyone or any place that just sells the switch so i can replace the key (soldering required). I would really appreciate if anyone can help letting me know where i can get the switch from. Thanks guys

i think Razer uses the so called "proprietary razer switch" which nobody has, so you have to find another raz board to harvest switch

i never had confidence on razer kb, although ming liang is like the main influencer and i like his attitude, but I'm skeptical on his products

Topre sucks, feels like cheap rubber dome keyboard.
I cannot feel any difference when I switch between the 3 levels adjustable actuation point of Realforce RGB.

I still prefer Cherry MX blue dry.gif

The Halo Clear and Halo True switch options seem very interesting. Of course, this boards was designed with swappable switch feature which makes it even more interesting. Case wise, also very nice and hefty. Also, it's RGB everything for those who like RGB.

More than 1.5k sets "sold" so far. Shipment date however, is November, a looooong time to wait.

recently just came back from Japan and gotten myself a realforce 87ub-s, although not uniform weight but the typing really feel soft without the clicky sound. if not mistaken the weights typing area is 30g-45g, esc is 50g.

both have their own unique typing experience. i prefer topre smooth and soft key yet when bottom out will have "thuck thuck" sound, though my topre is the silence version so not that loud compared with hhkb professional 2. hhkb professional can feel the slight bump or slightly click sound (maybe?) cause i was testing it in yodobashi (noisy environment).

Actually I love how the design of the board itself, very simple yet stunning. The ability to swap between switches is a total game changer to me, but yeah there would be some flaw from that. The most interesting part is the Halo switch, red that it was created to get the smooth butter feels like topre which should be nice though..

Well I don't mind to wait, since this is the first ever massdrop gb for this model right?

It is K-Type's global debut, facilitated by MD. And yeah, I'm in for one with Halo True. Will use this to swap out different switch types to my heart's content in the future

No offense but Razer have poor reliability for all its products.
