Hey, do want to bare the shipping cost together? I also interested buying the halo switch
*
By buying 2 units under 1 order, shipping cost increases from $16.08 to $21.77. But this will definitely give rise to GST imputation when the barang arrives, which will be more than the savings on shipping. On a per unit basis, there's a high chance a single unit will not be subjected to GST since the value will be under RM1k. USD exchange rate will have to go beyond RM4.62.

The Varmilo VA87M is very solidly built, with floating key design

Hi guys, any customizeable standard keycap mkb with red switch? Budget not high. Prefer to have mkb that keycap can change and it is standard one.

I did not experience any "ping" on my unit with MX clear switches or at least none that my peasant ears could detect

guys, are there any differences between PBT keycaps and ABS double shot keycaps?

Im using Ducky's floating keycaps atm.. I ordered Vortex PBT keycaps.. not sure if its worth the money or not doh.gif
*
The feel of the Vortex PBT keycaps most probably better than the Ducky floating ones...however, QC on the Vortex PBT keycaps is quite bad. I had an opportunity to go through several units of the Vortex PBT caps, almost all of them had the stems showing through. The degree of the stem's visibility varies according to the lighting conditions, and also on manufacturing variability too I guess as some had really visible stems while others not so much. After checking around 15 units of the caps, I gave up and decided to forego buying them. So...caveat emptor.

It might be different for your case but a few years ago I kene tax by kastam on an item I bought from the US via ebay. I had to go to Pos Malaysia at KLIA to pay the tax & then pick up the item. Again, YMMV.

Ah, I was just about write on this here. I did try lubing the stabilizer bar of my right shift using white lithium grease pen (ACE hardware, around belas2 ringgit). This right shift keycap was sticky and would get stuck randomly sometimes, super annoying when it remains depressed. Anyway, after lubing (just a bit, less is more), the problem went away for awhile but after a week it reoccured. So I tried shaving off a little bit of the keycap's bottom inside edge using an Xacto knife (refer to pic below, NB pic isn't mine, just using it here to illustrate the part I'm referring to). Guess what, the keycap gets stuck more often! Am I doing something wrong? For now, I relubed for the time being as a stopgap measure.

Oh, and this didn't happen with the stock ABS keycaps of my Majestouch 2. It only started happening when I switched out to a set of Leopold PBT keycaps. Thicker than the stock Filco keycaps for sure, but also I think the Leopold keycaps' SS2 profile could also be a factor but not 100% sure.

Would appreciate feedback.

So I still have this sitting in my cupboard while cleaning. I've quit the hobby and wants to let this one out at a final price of Rm480. If there's no taker i'll just give it to my sister.

Too lazy to make sales thread and follow up on it anymore.

If anyone interested please pm me.

hey guys . a CC in subang jaya uses Hermes Gamdias mechanical keyboard. the feel is good. but the usability sucks for gaming.

I was playing half life LAN (yes, crossfire map biggrin.gif), I press W to move forward, and it seems like the key D is slightly sometimes "activated". So I really don't trust Hermes inexperience.

so question is, what's the best quality mechanical keyboard with back-light I can get for around RM300? Numpad is not required, but will be a bonus

Look for the second hand mechanical keyboard, probably you can get less than 300 bucks. Go look for iKBC, CM, Filco, Rosewill, vortex, KBC, KBT, topre..
Most of the guy here start with second hand real mechanical keyboard.

My daily driver keyboard was a 3rd hand keyboard. Bought it because I couldn't afford the new 1. probably around 5 years old now. Quality board can't break easily.

Does anyone knows how to fix double click issue? The y button of my previous mech keyboard was found double click after a usage of 2yrs . Or it is literally un-fixable ?
