no prob.

i dont like 60% coz no dedicated arrows. so layout such as Minila or 68% intrigued me.

search for Clueboard(dunno can still get it or not) or off the shelf board like Leopold 66.

Hey guys. It's been a while since I explore MKB stuff, I'd like to ask something about MKB. My custom made Magicforce 68 Gateron White had a few switches that were spoilt ( double register) and I swapped them out. The age of the keyboard is about 6-8 months

Is this considered as normal for Gateron White since it's only 35g? The spoilt switches are the commonly used for FPS game.

I'm also thinking of building a new mini layout MKB. Any new MKB pcb available on Taobao? Budget below rm500 without the key caps.

My goal is to make MKB with Gateron Red/similar. Preferably without LED too as they're too troublesome.

for switches, it's really about personal preference. just get what you want and have fun with it smile.gif

well, that's the price for good-quality, better looking key cap sets and imo it's good to put them on your filco. there are cheaper ones. however they are not really as nice. (these key cap sets last for a long time; you can reuse them for as long as you like actually)

Buy GMK set. Then buy addons. All kibod covered. Then you go ortholinear. So you buy XDA/DSA/SA or whatever. Then you dun like. So you go back to GMK and standard sets. Then you custom. Then you buy uniform profile again. Repeat.

Tecware Phantom TKL mechanical gaming keyboard

QUOTE
Available with either red and white-colored SMD LEDs, gamers also have the choice to obtain the keyboard with either Outemu Blue or Brown key switches. To ensure the durability of the keyboard, Tecware has used double layer PCB and double shot ABS keycaps for it.

It's good actually for having low price mkb in the market. Quality aside, it's budget anyway. You get what you pay for.
As usual, it will create another division in mkb community.

Personal Comment: I hope I can test on this board, but I don't want even spend money to get it. <-- My scumbag attitude rclxm9.gif

well yeah.

from user reviews that i read, quality is kind of like a common issue in these boards. (most reviews at youtube usually just show unboxing experience, when boards are still new. the thing that matters more imo is user reviews that include at least few months of dedicated usage)

however since it's affordable, users most probably get a new one when the current one malfunctioned hehe
