omg! even 218.111 is freakin lag these day (redialed 5 times & get 5 different 218.111 range)

I'm in Singapore now and the http dl speeds is 750 KB per second, 200 MB in 5 minutes!!

In good ol Msia, getting 40 KB (at a consistent rate) means you're very lucky.

Quite lucky the last few days and enjoying quite good speeds. Hope it lasts!!!

Even the fastest basic streamyx IP range is rather slow... even for a slowpoke. For the normal ranges I'm getting about 3 second pings from google, unable to even post Feel like it's even worse than the time the undersea cable broke...good thing I found one while reconnecting

First time here ,cos angry too. This quake, that quake, cables stolen (by the sharks maybe??!!). Our neighbors are happily surfing away, downloading, etc with such great speed, AND laughing at Tmnet and its so call Streamyx, fancy names but SHAMEFULLY cannot say so of its service. TWO THUMBS down!!!

Haih... Malaysia want to be internet hub somemore. I wonder if the rest of the world know what going on here.

Here in my house at Taman Seputih, everything is slow and high latency. Anyone from same or nearby area?

yeah~ my connection is finally back to 50kbs after a long downtime for almost 10 days.

sorry i conclude it too early. The fast connection only last about 40min on a single particular download. Now it is back to 5kbs...

well, i started to have slow connection problem.... just now it happen.

I'm not sure whether this also applies to the others. From what I've gone through last few weeks:

- 218.111.* IP range is very slow most of the time, except for a few servers. Better choose other IP.

- When using certain modem & firmware, you may get dc at a specific time period. For example, I got Aztech DSL600EU with firmware version 38.53.1. It will dc around 12:00am-01:00am almost everyday. But when I switched to another Aztech DSL600EU with firmware version 62.53.2, there is no more dc and I can keep the connection for more than 24 hours.

- Not all 219.95.* IP range is bad. After a few try, I found out that the difference can be very noticeable. For example, 219.95.18.* IP is suck while 219.95.88.* can get full speed, even faster than 218.111.*

Anyway, can get fast connection as long as I know TMNut behavior lately.

Lol, it is 1 AM here.... and the speeds are crawling. Ping to google reaches 600, and yahoo reaches 1000.
