I find it normal because I had use more warmer phone, plenty phone especially phone release on year 2015 is much much more warmer but not yet in hot situation. Phone I use where extremely hot and the only hot is Sony Xperia Z and ZL, this is the only two phone call hot and I sell both to my friend and both still working perfectly no issue. So iPhone is hot? It never is for me. iPhone is very very cool already in body temperature feel, even heat up time also slightly warm only. By the way I don't use safari due to it over slow scrolling, I only use Google Chrome. I also not using Snapchat.

If you feeling like holding a hot cup of coffee, then your phone probably something very wrong. This kind of hot is like what I described hot in Sony Xperia Z and ZL.

None is required, you are using 128GB, no need clear cache also. Just let it be. If you really really feel too junk already, Everytime connect to iTunes for backup, it will auto clear the cache. But for 128GB, really no point to do such thing. iOS is very well in memory management control.

Unless you using 32GB then probably need as you may run out of space. For 128GB, it is unnecessary.

Just before I update my sister iPad Air 2 and also iPhone 6 Plus to 10.2.1 and keep failing after near finish. I am using hotspot from Hotlink.

Later I switch to Maxis line hotspot and immediate success.

I believe Hotlink line is the culprit!

You dont need all those junk for IOS. I can say so even for android. IOS and Android versions are better developed and more efficient now compared to older days.

Thanks for the info. I am most likely going with 128GB as I will be using it for 3 years minimum. I believe the speed would slow down a lot when the storage is near capacity too. So gonna avoid that at all cost.

I had use 32GB before until left only 4GB, didn't slow down but it is better get 128GB. I already switch over.

Are you using original lightning cable or 3rd party? If original lightning cable, better return it for warranty claim

Everything is original still can't detect.. even with the earphones lighting cable. Possible to claim a new phone? But still need to wait right?

If you purchased your phone through Apple Online Malaysia and its still 1 week old, then can get a new phone replacement. Else if you purchased from shop, most probably will get a refurbished unit for warranty claim.
