i've just paid for 1 month SmoothPing service.

need help. If theres any smoothping user.

Everything is indicated that i'm Registered / Subscribe user ..

But my account is still in Trial mode. Sitll disconnect every 20mins. And If i set PUTTY ( WINDOW ) , that putty is showing that my account is a Trial Account.

Already raised a Ticket.. but damn long.. no reply yet... sigh... whats up with this? Any settings that i miss out on my side?

i am a smoothping user, ive subscribe for 3 month and my account is/are automatically set to subscribe. try raising a ticket to smoothping admin.

try sending em an email? and its saturday to make matter worst. And try logging out your smoothping account from both computer and browser, restart the computer and try logging in again.

Hi, I'm kinda new to this, but recently (since last weekend 18/4/2010) I've been getting huge lag spikes constantly and eventually disconnection. It starts of cool and normal at about 500-600ms latency for a good 10-20 mins, then it just starts dying reaching 2500ms+ latency (but it gets better for another 10-20 mins and then gets another lagspike) and finally disconnection. I relog and it repeats the same thing.

I'm using P1 WiMax and based on my Wimax modem configuration page, I'm getting a very good signal (always green on the modem). Also, I tested my ping rate to google while I was constantly getting lagspikes, but the pingrate to google is stable at 70-90ms (maybe 1 or 2 "Request timed out" but rarely).

I was wondering if a tunneling serve would help me or the problem has something to with my Wimax connection? I even tested surfing youtube and other streaming sites and only get good results (streaming from start to end without pausing).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, I'm using Win7 Home Premium (not pirate) and my P1 modem is the DV-300 (the old one I think, bought it about 1 year+ ago)

Whats the average ping for everyone?

I can usually get 350ms (local proxy) in the morning. It gets up to 450ms as the day progress.
Please post your ping and with the proxy you're using.

EDIT: I tried Smoothping, it never gets me below 400ms. So not really good for me? This mythical 250ms with Smoothping should be screenshotted.

already switched to Lowerping . Getting 200~300 green during instance 10/25 man run. Worth a try.

omg, whats wrong with the internet, i cnt play wow at all even already use smoothping!

smoothping is shit now man... especially LA servers are f***ed up... most of them.. im finally moved to other services.

To Lowerping?

Smoothping's quality of service has deteriorated lately for me. It used to be that all L.A. servers show a ping of about 200-220ms. Now only a handful of servers has that response time hence I have less choice now out of 15 servers. I still get low pings of about 230ms to 300 though.

But if all of LA servers go bad I guess it's time to switch..
