Had 118.xxx last night for H Naxx. Quite unstable. Before entering Naxx, latency was about 550ms then when trash mobs and bosses engaged latency jumped to 3000ms and disconnects.

Could do any proper rotation as most of the action bars will only light up after pressing it and it'll take about 2-3s before u c a heart strike or obliterate goes off. My Army of the Dead took like 5s b4 it starts channelling.

And because of this my tanks do more dps than myself a dedicated DK
dps. So memalukan.

Now for a few days until today, im maintain to find IP 118.101 for connection wow.. and around 400-700ms.
But in WG, conection will DC but in H naxx sometime will be DC. but when come into tonight around 11.50pm. There is no DC anymore.

So my question, is there streamyx connection going normal or still sux for US and Hong Kong connection ?

I was using 118.101 also since April 10...no problems until this morning. Absolutely unplayable with lags of over 9k ms.

Can't even load worldofwarcraft.com

I so noob, what are you guys talking about, how do you choose which IP to use?

My streamyx 512kbps connection is so horrible for the past month, I only get maybe 5-7 days combined good latency 400-800ms.

Can someone please tell me more about what is being tested here?

Thank you!

Go to a site like, ip-adress.com to find out what your current IP is. If you're on streamyx, simply restarting the modem should be enough to cycle through IPs.

Alternatively if you're on a wifi you can go through your wireless settings remotely and restart your modem through there.

Ah thanks so much for info, i always crawl down below desk to the switch on/off modem doh.gif , now i can do it on the router webpage rclxms.gif . But unfortunately, TM is totally farked up atm, no amount of switching IP helped and sometimes it just hang ... probably some IP totally cannot connect ... deeeep haiz

... A TM person just called as I am writing this post, and I tell her my problem for the 100th time, and eventually I yelled at her and swear at her. I spend time doing ping plotter test as they request, tell them patiently what is affecting my connection every time, but the morons don't listen and they ask me the same questions over and over, like this, after 3 minutes of explaining my situation, they ask this "ok, what is the problem right now" ... I explain again, then they ask again "ok, what is the problem right now", last call and the last last call, its the exact same thing, serious, really cannot tahan sad.gif

I think I'll try p1, even though it is a lot more expensive and some report they suck as well ...

2 years TM gave good fast speeds, then all of a sudden I get problems regularly and they tell me its my modem problem, my computer problem, spliter problem, my area is too old, lines are too old ... its never their problem, then I start sending angry emails, and its now oh "we are having problems on our side".

I think the good times are over, I'll never get good connection on TMnet, they somehow made the IP I connect to (in this area) mostly shit or something. Its fraud lar, I pay for 512k unlimited usage package, and they give shit service, maybe for new customers they give some sort of fast gateway, then they turn it off.

Also having their speed test location hosted in brickfields is con man tactic, TMnet you suck.

Pohpiah... which area are you in ? I am facing exactly the same problem most of the time, switching IP all the time to see which is better, using ping plotter to check out the connection, and the most frustrated is the TM personal and for us that always call and complaint, their attitude is making me mad vmad.gif and their reply is not helping at all.

Sigh.. what can be done? by the way i m using 1Mbps package and stay in Rawang. No IP can get me any good connection since yesterday.. icon_question.gif

For your WOW gamers information, sometimes I playing WOW US realm in Singapore without any problem but still have lagging randomly and the latency is below 600ms. Usually I play in my office during after work. This is because my connection there is 10Mbps. But, while I'm playing in my home Johor Bahru, I always kick out from the server. I still cannot upgrade my streamyx because my connection here already 1.0Mbps.

You can compare between our ISP 'streamyx' and http://www.singnet.com.sg/. Which one the most worth for players just like us?

Soon I'll transfer my main character in Silvermoon into Saurfang just because want to play in my home.

Cya... Ciao Romano. hmm.gif
