I called TM today. Apparently the cable fault between MY and the US is still ongoing, new expected date to be fixed is 9 April.
I checked the traceroutes, we are indeed dropping packets all over the place. Currently 124.xxx and 60.xxx is okay for questing/farming but nothing that involved major data transfers. Can still dc occasionally on 5-mans.
Cannot do Wintergrasp or 25-man Naxx...dc at every pull.

I was using 118.101 also since April 10...no problems until this morning. Absolutely unplayable with lags of over 9k ms.
Can't even load worldofwarcraft.com

QUOTE(pohpiah @ Apr 23 2009, 01:52 PM) I so noob, what are you guys talking about, how do you choose which IP to use? My streamyx 512kbps connection is so horrible for the past month, I only get maybe 5-7 days combined good latency 400-800ms. Can someone please tell me more about what is being tested here? Thank you! Go to a site like, ip-adress.com to find out what your current IP is. If you're on streamyx, simply restarting the modem should be enough to cycle through IPs. Alternatively if you're on a wifi you can go through your wireless settings remotely and restart your modem through there.
