Hi, I have a question for those who are from Tabuan Jaya, Kuching as well.
I'm living in Tabuan Jaya and my streamyx is 1Mbps.
With good IP (124.82 or 60.53) I'm geting latency around 400-550ms.
I'd like to know what latency you guys getting to make comparison.
Sorry but the latency is not reported for Tabuan Jaya at the front page that's why I'm asking here.
So please tell me your latency and your streamyx package if you reside in Tabuan Jaya.

at office soho package 218 == 300-500
at home 1mb RM88 60.52 == 1000-1400ms

who say don't have? go check again and read properly. i know it's there coz i put it there since i live there. press Ctrl+F, and Find "Tabuan Jaya" in that post. doh.

as of this time, 124.82 is slightly better than 60.53 which is starting to give lag spikes in game. 400-550 ms is already good lah. there were times last month it hit 700-900 ms. raiding also with that lag.

but since last week, there's been weird lag spikes happening for all streamyx package owners. everyone is feeling it and complaining.

For package, I downgraded from 1Mbps to 512kbps package after having a lot of disconnects. Change 2 phonelines with better wiring. Speed no difference coz the phone lines in the older part of Tabuan Jaya got problems anyway because it's so old. Even normal phone calls got problem.

If you're in the newer part of Tabuan Jaya, shouldn't be a problem or as bad as those who live in older housing areas.

My house is built around 8 years ago, hmm new or not I don't know LOL.
But relatively new compared to those which have been built more than decades ago.
Wish I had decent connection like those of US players, the latency has too much impact on us casters.

my house older. since 70s. phone line is not that great to begin with so oh well. gotta live with it as not planning to move out.

TMNut Streamyx is back with their lag at 12.30am with
800-2400ms ping for 219.94 at Setapak
218.208 is 1000+ms
218.111 and 219.95 is unplayable and didn't bothered to look at the ping

Lag gone for 219.94 at 11am.

I'm in Kota Damansara area, getting 60.54 --> is this a good IP? Cant really test atm since maintenance.

Klang, Southern Park.

Currently, lagging, host DotA also people complained lag and delay.

Lag ips : 60.49.x.x, 60.50.x.x, 60.51.x.x, 60.52.x.x, 60.53.x.x, 60.54.x.x
Good ip : 60.48.x.x

Major lag and frequent DCs this few days. It started like 3 days ago. Keep getting 1k ++ MS. Sigh. We desperately need another ISP to give us alternative for broadband.

i use 218.208.xxx.xxx and seriously my ping is unstable...
minute become 1k - 2k... then drop to 500 - 1k...
it never drops below 500 which is pretty bad...

i dunno wat's de best ping for subang area playin wow...
so far i did try 218.111.xxx.xxx not so stable either... although slightly better den de 218.208.xxx.xxx

did anyone try out the trial iBurst connection?

Section 2 area best IP is 60.53.xxx.xxx 300-500ms
second one is 60.48.xxx.xxx but 700-900ms
btw 60.53 is very very hard to get -.- if there's someone playing wow in wangsa maju section 2, mind to tell me what's the best time to get IP 60.53?
my housemate restart my router and made my IP gone, i been sitting infront of my pc 2 days, trying to connect back to the IP but it's still didn't get it
