Anyone went to townhall? Any updates?

Depends on which area u play.  I'm lucky to be where I am.  I only do HP and above, but limited to 9pm.  200 trips a week is peanut, unless I travel for work or holiday.  Ever since I started grabbing in Sept 2016, my incentive has always been more than fare collected.  Last week net around RM2,300 (RM1000 + RM1,300).  Even when they remove the busy area requirement, I am still still doing 100% busy area.  I don't run away from traffic.  Where the traffic is, that's where the demand is.

No doubt these days, easier to achieve AR of 85% compared to previously 90% but those were the days when incentives was high.[attachmentid=8892135]

My promo since saturday tarak masuk lagi. Somemore today rasa macam buat charity. 9 trips for RM19... apa la nasib...

Last week i did 68 hours.  More power than fleet driver.  But before incentive was slashed, I only needed 60hours to earn the same, sometimes earn even more.

Lesson... Even there is ride hailing, drunken rider shouldn't take these at mid night, better trouble parents, friends or some one you knew he or she is doing either platform... Now days driver is among us....

Anyway, UIA Gombak have closed their 2nd gate. So any pickup/drop off inside need to go through 3rd gate which is 5km away. Can we complain to Grab and ask them to readjust the rate?

Whats the best way to inform them regarding the route? Call CS or email?

I presume u r talking about week May 29th - June 4th, which is totally screwed.  Grab statement to me, AR 82.35%, CR 7.14%.

I remember all my trips cuz I only did like 6-7 hours.  25 jobs offer, accepted 22.  Completed 18 trips, passengers cancelled 3, I cancelled 1.  No matter how you manipulate the numbers u can never get AR 82.35% and CR 7.14%.  On my app, AR 88%, CR 4.5%.

If rider's cancellation and my cancellation are not included, AR supposed to be 18/21 = 85.7%.  If only my cancellation doesnt include, AR = 21/24 = 87.5%.  No.matter how, still.cant get 82.35% & 7.14%

My cancellation is only 1 trip, how can it be 7.14%.  Ini tak.boleh tipu punya!

The system at that time was screwed.  I already emailed for clarification, 4 days, no reply.  Sent another reminder just now.

Is grab ambassador can still drive uber? They can track and kick you out from ambassador if drive uber?

They really messed up that week, they wrote my AR as 100%, LOL

I may agree entirely with your point of view on driver rating, but what about the minimum RM5 fare as guaranteed for Flexi scheme?

Why would Grab put it there nett min. fare guarantee as RM0.00 ? Make no sense right !!!

I did some math and here is the possible figures for you:-

AR=14/17=82.35%
...dont tell me they calculate as 17=18 completed trips - 1 driver cancelled job? 14=18 completed trips - 1 driver cancelled job - 3 ignored pings?? which would be completely wrong, it should be using the total pings minus rider-cancelled jobs(25-3=22) instead of completed trips(18).

CR=1/14=7.14%

I think their Finance team using manual calculation or formular template.

which mean, the weekly changes in incentives, their finance staff cannot cope with it and always do wrong with their senior also blur blur.

I heard GRAB HQ finance have high staff turnover when i go for HQ queries for smtg.

This method is no way logical.  I completed 18 trips, how is it possible AR = 14/17?

It is more logical to count AR = 18/19.  Where by 19 is the number of accepted trips.  But, this can't be AR anymore.  This is the ratio of completed trips/accepted trips.  Which is the reverse of cancellation rating.

I think grab is running out of capital.  Imagine if there is only 1000 drivers like me around, collect gross fare rm1,200/week.  Get inventive RM1,300 net.  Everyweek they have to pay RM1.3m.  Very hard to sustain.

And for them to get that 1.3m, they need hardcore fare drivers to collect RM6.5m/week!  Say 1 hardcore drivers can collect RM3000/week, grab needs 2,200 drivers like this.

My driver app crashed, and couldnt be redownloaded, I am using iPhone 7 is this a suspension from grab?

All iphone user can't open the driver apps. Not suspension lol

I think their iOS cert expired at 2017-06-14 04:30:33pm. My iphone is jailbroken so it doesn't check cert expiry so everything is running fine.
