If the pick up point require 30min to reach, why not cancel off for both benefit? Plus some pick up location is 4-5km away sweat.gif
We sometimes face rider cancel off when we driving towards his pick up location too, we also whine but has to accept it.

Not we don't want to read, when driving at low speed 20-30km/h, a split second can cause knocking car back, u should know that. We normally focus on pick up point and destination, when traffic slow down or stop beside road, we can read and digest what is it, some more the phone number has to remember and key in one by one because phone unable to copy paste. That is why i hate 3rd party booking, has to scroll down look at it, reach pick up point then have to call and msg them, time wasted about 5min is normal for this kind of booking.

Yeah, Last week and this week cancellation by rider is rampant, complain until sien already. The FB group people did mention it is done purposely by bunch of driver/taxi driver to fool u.

Some customer very lcly, stuck in jam already tell them "i'll arrive in 2mins", reach there click "i'm here", then nobody is there doh.gif One must understand crowded area like Midvalley, Pyramid is not allow for car to park there and have your own sweet time waiting there.
No choice have to circle one round, customer take his own sweet time and walk slow slow like a boss, has to smile and greet them. Thank you Grab for improving my EQ.

Grabpay can get 10x rewards, that is the highest reward point I've seen. Effectively RM15 require spending of RM180

This morning waited 10min for 3rd party booking, call that person then ask me call another guy. Told them exact location still huh huh huh. Cancelled it on the spot and that person called back about 2 times after cancellation.

Then another grabshare booking, waited for 12mins, enter the car and ask me to drive fast because rushing for work. I am speechless with this kind of rider.

Now even promo code have to monitor closely, according to Grab SOP is credited on the spot or every Wednesday according to CS.

U should let professional handle it, injury may cause severe issue in future and we are not in medical field

Email to CS is waste of time, everytime SOP answer and even worse ask me which booking no. which i have printscreen and attached in the email doh.gif

The promo code u all have to track manually, because there is no clear guideline how they reimburse back promo code to driver

Same scenario,if you;re focking going to a super jam place, and the fare is only rm10 for a 1 hour journey, well, please book Uber, for sure on Grab(experience drivers) would just give u a bye.

Say again you go to restaurant just before their closing time and order a whole bunch of items, the restaurant will just tell you, they are closing soon, please come back another day
On Grab, i can decide if i want to accept a last job before calling it a day, On Uber, you got some time left, but waddya know, ping come is going to some place  jam place, well, you just got focked real good by Uber

Some in Uber forum,says, just accept everything, in the end things will average out , Totally agree with this statement, but......... only if you work long hours (10++ hours a day)
If you only work part time / short hours, well, you just got screwed big time by Uber  biggrin.gif

There is pro and con in both side from i've seen, Uber apps definitely showing more features for driver, especially rating comment etc. While Grab is just plain simple and user-friendly for rider but driver apps certainly need improvement. I believe from the huge fund raise months ago and recent shift into new office in Singapore will certainly improve.

U try open Uber apps and see the amount of driver, i find it pathetic low even with peak hour.

Anyway i think Grab statistic reflect lower demand of 8pm block but it seem unlikely based on my experience, shopping mall especially still in high demand 8pm slot (monday to thursday). Let the rider enjoy waiting or pay higher fare on 8pm laugh.gif

Nowadays even with HP block, i get 3 grabshare trip can easily more than HP guarantee block.

RM13
RM7
RM19

Total net is 31.20 + 19.50 = RM50.70

Takes about 1.5 hrs to complete this 3 trip, effectively about RM33.8 per hr if calculate back.

Just record down in excel sheet, almost everywhere has grabshare trip, even RM3 also got sweat.gif

Did ask them why order grabshare, reason is normal grabcar with surge RM14 (normal fare RM9), so they opt for grabshare at RM10 (With surge). Some order grabshare because it is cheap, especially student can save 30%.

Tell them nicely, nothing we as driver can do but obey the system. I always show them driver apps and system allocate second rider to drop off because of location, nothing much we can do about it.

Then tell them nicely, if in hurry better don't book grabshare, because we cannot reject if any order come in.

Many customers enjoy the 30% savings but did not think of consequences, if still not happy with it, i'll ask them to call Grab CS and let them rant whatever complain laugh.gif

Let them suffer for the first time and teach them a good lesson by late arrival time whistling.gif

UP slot is almost impossible to get RM3 grabcar trip already, Grab increasing it quietly without popping "high fare", while HP i still can see RM3 trip.

For yesterday and today 6-7pm UP slot, almost all grabshare trip. It seems Grab has indirectly asking rider towards grabshare for lower fare.

8pm P block incentive is useful provided u have trip crossing over from 7pm slot, i would suggest u turn off after get 1 short trip (if possible) at 8pm slot.

For my case yesterday night,
7.40pm ping from mont kiara to shah alam, cheapskate rider don't want use toll and i lazy to argue with her, drive all the way using federal highway and incurred extra 15-20min, drop her off at 8.40pm. So i don't wanna waste the 40min online time, next job come in at 8.50pm and drop off at 9pm. So i can get RM18 of that slot.

Remember drive smart and plan it with your way.
