It's the speed of the RAM that matters, not the amount

u mean 533/667/800/1066 Mhz speed of RAM? if like that, i got score 5.9 with 2GB Kingston DDR2 667Mhz, mean bro madguy88's ram speed should lower than mine la even though his ram is 4gb, maybe 533mhz or lower hmm.gif i dun thinks so la, nowadays ram price is very cheap, many people tends to buy DDR2 800Mhz instead of 667Mhz due to small diff in price, so maybe there other factors that influence the ram score beside ram speed

In the end it's the speed. The more RAM you have, the more time it needed to access all of it. And as 32Bit is limited to 3.5GB anyways, 4GB of RAM does lead to a slowdown on 32bit system as it needs to limit the last 512MB of addressing space.

I think, u can't looking at the Mhz speed only, bcoz if u looking there it said "Memory operation per second", so it means your memory transfer rate score. U must look at these things that can affect the score such as memory timing, speed, latency...etc. All AMD processor have an integrated memory controller that is better if compare to current intel processor that used mainboard chipset as a controller, so for intel processor difference chipset may cause difference score too

That's is what I understand, correct me if I'm wrong... smile.gif

No problem, but what make it bad is the total score in windows vista is determined by lowest subscore, and the highest score is 5.9... better used other software for comparison purpose

Ur score not bad biggrin.gif
