LOL. How did you get 8.8? It's even funnier if it is really the virus that screwed the score. This is mine after switching from Asus P5K SE motherboard to Asus P5Q Deluxe. The performance boost is so huge after switching to one of the best mobo.

just bought new inspiron 1420 last week

By right, max score was only 5.9. You can crack it to 9.9 too but the score doesn't make any different. 5.9 and 9.9 still the same. How to crack it? I posted it before you can try to browse thru.

by editing xml file.. yes we can get up till 9.9
 so beware.. maybe we will cheat by shop who edit the score back to my cases.. now my hdd running on ata mode.. if i change to sata mode.. can i improve my score ?? |

err it's not about RAM space. You barely optimise more than 2GB of ram anyways, so 4GB is just a waste. It's about speed
