some baby do sleep more cos they r growing. don't worries ur gerbils will not sick as i give them a good base. n for the condition i keep u can ask ppl who come my place b4. if they really sick, just bring them back to me.. can change for u anytime. don't worries

if abit doesn't matter cos i am using tierwohl.. so ur bedding is difference from mine... as long as it don't go worst.. cos they shouldn't hv allegy.. cos parents don't hv... but if they really get worst let me know ok...then i hv to check their line oledi.

my gerbs bedding is roughly 5-inch thick... the good thing is i can see they really enjoy digging and coming in & out from the 'ground'... the bad thing is i hardly see them... when they sleep even harder to see coz they cover the view holes with wood shavings...

the question is... will it disturbs them if i reduce the bedding thickness, so that i can see them frequently on the 'ground'...?

See if the tip of the bottle isn't stuck. When they fight over the tip, mostly probably they can't drink any water from there and they are thirsty, that's why they're fighting over it.

No problem, that's what most likely happen, otherwise they won't fight over the water. Toilet roll they chew very fast one... hahaha...

Dehydrated gerbil ar? Will become inactive and it is deadly to such a small animal. Thirsty gerbil will fight over the bottle like that you saw, and if you hand is wet, they'll lick from your hand.

Hahaha.. I keep moving my hand inside the tank. They come near & sniff & play around. Then i use my finger like push push them, they will hold my finger play then nip. lolz.. Finger moving also nip.

Yup. They're so curious about the surrounding. Keep running around to look down. Didnt dig but exploring.

Well i guess mine wasn't dehydrated YET... was still running around. I just gave them another box.. tissue paper box. wahaha...

Dehydrated gerbils will sleep more, have a hunch back and sunken eyes..... if dehydrated pup, lagi scary.... wrinkly skin, ultra thin waist and prominant rib cage.... wuuu....
