Oh I got 1 question. Gerbils heat tolerance should be higher than hamster right? I plan to leave my gerbils outdoor when I get them from nezu. Don't worry it's not that HOT. It's fully shaded. Nearby the car posh. Should be fine right?

QUOTE(hao @ Feb 11 2007, 08:16 PM) Oh, Hun helps you to take care of your gerbils when you go back to your hometown ar... haha.. well to what I understand, gerbils are desert animals mar.. hmm.. unwelcomed guests as in thief or animals? If animals don't worry la.. I have my ways to make sure cats won't come.. if thief ar.. erm.. do you think someone is willing to jump in the house and take a whole tank of gerbils away? I think they'd rather steal my shoes outside. LOL.. kena many times alrd..Better put your gerbils inside your house to avoid attracting unwelcomed guests. |

oh... icic. Usually what are the indications of 'overheat' for hamsters and gerbils. I tried leaving my hamster outside and I monitor it every hour. I check on its nose but everything seems fine. Not wet at all. Is it a clear indication that the temperature is fine for my hamster?

You did mentioned that they played with your hamsters first.. maybe their hands have hamster smell which your gerbil don't like.

QUOTE(nezumitaro @ Feb 22 2007, 10:41 PM) heheh thats y i always say, don't use the lid Gerbils are THAT smart?! gerbil or any animal with teeth will bite, don't expect 100% no bite. but gerbils rarely bite, if the breeding take seriously. breeding a good temp pair is also very important part, cos kids will learn from parents |
