After disable movie creator, 30 hours of using and without a restart, the phone is still smooth. No more weird and random lag, and phone heat without a reason.
So far, everything is back to normal for my case. And first time, i can say the XZ is faster and smoother than my old Z3.

Ram usage stay at 2.5gb, and free ram always 10-20%. No more suck ram under 50mb free ram.

So far, i am satisfying this time.

The phone wouldn't lag even the ram usage hit 80-90%? That's amazing . My old Lenovo already lag when the ram usage hit 80-90%...

I am using those cheap armor case now, not sure it can't protect the phone well or not. Haha

As i say before, Android is not Windows. Android keep cache in ram, for faster response and battery saver.
Android is controlled by memory management.
Of course, sometimes when heavy tasking, it will delayed few secs because the system is clearing unused ram. It is normal.

Try do not clear ram, and turn off smart cleaner. You will feel the different.

Does Xperia xz support volte? I tried with my digi simcard, there's no volte. Or it depends on the area?

So far yes. Basically i used all telco except webe in my phone.

BTW, after disabled movie creator, my phone no longer happen some serious lag. But the phone is only smooth for 3 days. The 4-5 days, the phone is started for some slowness, switching app need somentimes to redraw.
Stability still not really match with my z3, even 15 days+ without restart.

Actually I don't mind the phone starts to lag after few days. Just restart the phone will solve the problem? I will turn off my phone when I sleep at night. Haha. So, switch off the phone when u are not using it, why not?

Restart few days is not a problem, and also reasonable for me. But my logic is, a new upgrade should better than before. If not then this is a downgrade. Why i have to spend almost 3k to buy a worse phone than before >.>

Sure or not, I thought Hardware support, carrier support, but not software support? I already called Digi to activate the VoLTE but no difference also.

I am only 10 years sony user , including sony ericsson . Last time thinking of getting other brand phone , but ended up getting sony . This is i am used to sony ui already . I have tried another brand in the shop , but dont really like it because of the almost stock android , looks like very cheap phone although the phone itself is more than rm2k

The hardware for VoLTE is there but software is not.
Need to wait for update from Sony to activate the VoLTE feature.

Erm, they used to have it in their Concept firmware but not in the consumer version firmware.
No idea why they don't enable it.

Rhinoshield case has finally arrived. Felt sturdy and easy to hold~

Our hardware & software support voLTE. But the setting is not. Inside the system, there are some .mdn files, it is the modem config file. Our carrier/telco is not yet pushing this config file to OEM/phone maker. So our phone won't able to connect voLTE. If your phone has root, i know how to switch the modem file. You can try to switch it to some universal / nearest telco setting to enable it, but no guarantee.

Below is the example, you can see the config file name as singtel, this is why singtel able to use voLTE with XZ.

When i hold the upper part of the phone , the wifi signal dropped from 3 bar to 1 bar . Anyone also experienced the same problem ? Is it common for xzs ? Or it's manufacture defect ?

since May or June system update, the lag problem is unresolved. I'm start feel tired of this phone..so disappointed.. haihh. I'm not expect will face this kind of problem on the flagship phone actually..

now need to think if can avoid this with use of custom rom.. but.. extra time need to spend..again..
