I just bought the CP-AD3 quick charger from Sony Store KLCC
UPDATE: The charging time is slightly faster only. But then I realized there is a battery care function which is turned on by default. Wonder if turn it off, then charging time will improve? https://www.sony.com.sg/pressrelease/asset/...ctpressreleases This post has been edited by thirumaran: Nov 14 2016, 09:19 AM |

the latest update that we received just only gives November security patches. i think Sony is trying to roll out security patches like every 2-3 months.

This is not good...other manufacturer like LG is giving the security patches every month..http://www.xperiablog.net/2016/11/13/new-x...curity-patches/ QUOTE Some users have had issues over double tap to wake responsiveness, but it’s not yet clear if this has been improved in the latest update. I confirmed this is still not fixed in the latest firmware update. This post has been edited by ^4ever_Fan+a5y^: Nov 14 2016, 10:29 AM |

Sharing some pic that i took yesterday using the XZ:
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « And tested the Sony heavily advertised "capture without blur", the result not disappointed: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « My girlfriend was running with my dogs (delete my GF pic for privacy), the camera manage to capture the image quite sharp..this is a one-take-image, there are few more pic about my dogs running, too lazy to do the censoring and upload here No chance to try taking pic at night yet, but what i understand is that this phone take very nice image if you use manual mode to manually adjust the settings. QUOTE(tranfoz @ Nov 14 2016, 03:35 PM) Quite surprised too, hsbc 10% off. Just got the phone this afternoon. Gtronic included a screen protector and clear case for free. Still setting up few stuff, wanna try the ldac Bluetooth audio later. Wanna pair up with my abn-100 ldac capable Bluetooth headset. First impression though, really rectangular phone with nice curve edges. |

LDAC is an upgrade for bluetooth audio, hires audio sounds slightly better on bluetooth , still cant compared to wired but its good.
for non Hires Audio, sounds similar using either APT-X or AAC bluetooth encoding. |

QUOTE(edthrax @ Nov 14 2016, 10:31 PM) LDAC is an upgrade for bluetooth audio, hires audio sounds slightly better on bluetooth , still cant compared to wired but its good. I would still prefer a headphone over bluetooth headphones all the time. for non Hires Audio, sounds similar using either APT-X or AAC bluetooth encoding. however, for the 100ABN, if one were to get it isn't wrong either, because of the almost top class noise cancelling. EDIT : and it has cable support too. This post has been edited by raymondtong94: Nov 14 2016, 10:59 PM |
