what do you mean by request to split in your post #1? thinking of appealing

If you have existing Maybank cards, then ask to split credit limit.

I asked already. Yet to get reply.

Many got theirs this way. So no worries.

Occasionally, I fill up other car in which I don't need to fill it up full tank but I would still want to maximise my CB whenever possible. Btw, I've managed to get the preset working now. Just tried yesterday. Maybe I was doing something wrong before hence the reason it was not working.

Never tried before, AFAIK, declined/rejected.

Perhaps others may shed some light on this?

Hi all. Need help from you guys. So I have apply for islamic ikhwan cc from maybank last 2 weeks ago. How do I know that whether my application was rejected or decline? I apply by submitting forms at the branch.

u can call CS to check or login to M2U to see any new card appear

You'll get a sms giving the status.

but 2 weeks is too long. Maybe the branch is late to process it. Better if you go to Maybank card centre.

So even if they reject it, they will inform me right?

yea they will send you a letter to inform you but usually normal pos will take a long time to reach us..

where did u apply? if it's a small branch then the process will take quite long. kena before when i applied in Muar

I just call maybank and ask about the application. Its not even in system yet. I bet the officer didnt even submit the application. Also, I submitted online just now and straight away got reply. Application rejected. Gonna call them and ask why rejected.

Banks will not share rejection reason. You may appeal if you want. No PTPTN outstanding right?

No ptptn loan. Had scholarship for studies last time. Now only have car loan with maybank as well. My salary also use maybank. Still wondering why rejected. Salary about rm32k annually.

Nothing to be disappointed about when this card has the highest rejection among other cards. Just try to appeal with them again.

Appeal thru email or better to the branch directly?

Email. Use back the email which mentions about your recent rejection and send to mbbcardservices@maybank.com.my.
Provide justification and ask them to reconsider your application again.
