Hi, question on Islamic Ikhwan American Express Platinum Card-i from Maybank. I understand this card is mainly used for online purchases.
Does online payments via Apple Pay count for cashback? Like on Shopee we can choose to checkout using Apple Pay.

Updated - yesterday my card on MAE turns into Maybank Islamic World Elite Mastercard Ikhwan card. Now back to normal Mastercard Ikhwan.

You can apply via email. Attached with application forms and supporting documents.

Some Maybank branches will specially open this Saturday for account opening and application of credit facilities.

Also cancel your Maybank (Malayan Banking Berhad) credit cards first or reduce the credit limit, Maybank Islamic Bhd hardly will give you a new credit line unless your income is increased substantially since last review.

You may also convert Maybank credit line (all your CC with Malayan Banking Berhad including Shopee Visa will be automatically cancelled upon conversion) to Islamic credit line (new CC issued by Maybank Islamic Bhd including Ikhwan Amex).

Myself and spouse applied online but both rejected. My spouse then applied offline by emailing in yet no news for 1 month. Suddenly received the card in mailbox.

I walked in applied and asked to cancel my other card to give back credit limit.

Maybank launched a new card? It is probably cause the benefit isn't really enticing. 10TP for every RM5 spent, and you need 10000TP for 1000 air miles? Not sure if I interpreted it correctly.

1) Cashback is based on transaction date or posting date?
2) Cashback is based on transactions in a calendar month or based on statement date?
