I got invitation to apply mbb Amex reserve, but I asked for Ikhwan Amex instead. Let’s see if I can get it or not, I asked to split limit from my current cc

mine also rejected even already have ikhwan mc. Maybe need to do same case as my krisflyer card ( rejected on online application and need to appeal manual using form, a weeks later, approve)

Ya I politely declined the reserve card offer but I asked the Officer to help with Ikhwan instead. Today already talk via phone

Card arrived at hometown yesterday and I just picked up today. Simple design just like any Ikhwan card. Expiry date follows my existing Ikhwan MC.

Just got my card. Will be using this card to pay my unifi bill via Lazada..Maxis...etc..For TIME broadband, it still does not accept AMEX at the moment so that is a waste. Overall this is a very good card IMO.

TIME broadband used to be able to pay with AmEx many years ago and it was removed, I don’t think it will be reinstated.

Yes but I will give it a shot and email them anyway. Hopefully they will reconsider to reinstate AMEX.

The exclusions do not include Insurance as well. Too bad my insurance company does not accept AMEX too.

Another platform that can be used is Favepay..But favepay merchants are not many as well.

I’m also going to shift my online payments from M2C Amex to Ikhwan Plat and keep M2C Amex for generic usage.

What do you mainly pay with your M2C Amex for online nowadays?

If you still have PB Quantum MasterCard, you can get more than 10% savings (direct discount from Lazada) if you pay Unifi @ Lazada on Thursdays and big days. Much better than 5%/8% CB from using Amex!

Should be.
No OTP required.
But it will still go through online verification (without OTP) unless it is direct debit.

what so special about the MB Ikhwan AMex cards? can use in shopee or lazada Amex?

8% CB on online transactions (except Govt, Utilities and ewallets).
Lazada Malaysia and Shopee Malaysia (except Digital goods section) accept Amex.

Actually just bills and FoodPanda. Also transactions on Lazada and Shopee.
