You may be the first one reporting successfully using Amex to pay Airpay Malaysia. Wait till 15/4 or 15/5 see if you get cashback. Airpay is the operator of ShopeePay, so not sure Airpay Malaysia is categorized as ewallet or not by Maybank (if ewallet no CB).

It is safer to use Lazada, I got online CB from paying Sarawak Energy @ Lazada.

Amex: on or before 15/4.

I don't use Shopee-Airpay nowadays.
Just checked, I still got online CB to pay Sarawak Energy/ Unifi @ Lazada.

Maybe your transaction is Direct Debit instead of Online.
You check if you "earned" some Treat points. If yes, then it is not online.

Just need to submit conversion form, your Maybank CC (Gold) /CL will be converted to Maybank Islamic CC (Gold - Visa/Mastercard) /CL. Your Maybank CC will be automatically terminated once you receive Maybank Islamic CC.

You can have Ikhwan Visa - Petronas 8% Sat/Sun, Ikhwan Mastercard - Petrol & Groceries 5% Fri/Sat AND Ikhwan Amex - Online 8%. 3 cards share the same Maybank Islamic credit limit.

MasterCard-i: you need to pump petrol & buy groceries on Friday or Saturday. You save 5% only.

Amex-i: Buy Petronas/Shell voucher at Lazada, 8% online CB, pump petrol any day (not limited to Fri/Sat/Sun), before the e- petrol voucher expires.
Pay utilities bills (including mobile postpaid, top up prepaid, water, IWK, except TNB/Maxis) at Lazada/Shopee to get 8% online CB.

M2Amex: 5% CB on Sat/Sun, 5x Treat Points (worth 1%) on Mon-Fri.

Not all the Lazada transactions are online.
I noticed one of the transactions was not charged immediately (no sms from Maybank after placing order at Lazada) credit limit not earmarked till posted.

Some people reported Airpay transactions (digital goods at Shopee App eg mobile reload direct/PIN) now accept Amex.

Setel PIN is sold by Setel Official Store directly so it is a genuine Shopee transaction. Unfortunately unlisted for the time being.

Alternatively use Shopee Paylater to pay at www.digi.com.my
Can get up to 10% free credit from Digi.
1.5% surcharge for using Spaylater, unfortunately not eligible to get 20% cashback from Shopeepay.
Then use Amex to settle Spaylater bill.

Good thing to buy Digi reload PIN/direct at Shopee App is -25% by Shopee Coins.

In rare case, eg only 1 of my 20 transactions at Lazada last month went to direct debit, then no online CB.
