you lose the infrared remote and expandable storage
but you gain superior screen, camera, even microphone also better

but i read mi4i thread. a lot complain lag but redmi 4a people say smooth. blink.gif

Was about to flash the ROM but then read the issues on the latest 8.2.10 Global, I'm holding for a while.

Anyone using case, tempered glass on R4P? Where did you get yours? Would be nice if can update first page with helpful info.

No issue on China ROM? Current ROM is modified China ROM anyway. Working well with Google ecosystem. Worth to upgrade to official China ROM? Assuming it can run Google ecosystem perfectly.

You got yours at ridiculous price. Can't really compare to current market. sweat.gif

5 of my friend brought mi4i from mi Malaysia website. 3 of them had a purple problem with front camera. 4 of them had an temperature issues which random reboot. 1 had issues with the wifi drop on several occasion. Think twice before you make the purchase, not sure on the Redmi 4a though...
