1. I don't like the first case because it is a hard case which doesn't adequately cushion your phone. Secondly, there is nothing covering finger print scanner and camera. Without it you are more likely to touch the camera.

3. There is no perfect tempered glass for RM4P

Redmi 4 prime has a 2.5d curved glass screen. that means normal tempered glass is gonna have halo effect, even if the tempered glass is trimmed. so you can either used it and ignore the halo effect, or buy a normal shitty plastic one, or use those plastic protector that cover the whole screen, but this type of protector uses a double sided tape on top and bottom. the middle transparent part is non sticky. these are your 3 choices. some seller will tell you they sell tempered glass with no halo effect, but their solution is giving you a small bottle of grease to apply at the halo effect area, which as you can imagine is not very practical, messy, dirty and you need to reapply every week.

the second case is just a normal tpu casing with design. i am using one now and so far so good.

Normal shitty one is those old plastic screen protector before tempered glass got common. you can get a few pieces with rm10 at taobao.
not sure since i dont own the case you show. i only use the tpu case to protect from basic scratch. my redmi4's silver bezel got slight scratched before i got my casing.

i use normal tempered glass with halo effect

anyway you can check a few pages back, i bought another case with my tpu and its quite good. as for protectiveness, dont think you need to care that much.
