6700 XT is RM1.8k now. I'm still contemplating whether I should go with 6700 XT or 3060 Ti.

My use case is such a mix bag.. I'm leaning towards 6700 XT more.

It's been that price for almost 3 months. Hopefully drop further soon.

If you got rm1.8k, just get 3070.

Big win for AMD in terms of value and price per dollar performance i'm sure. Finally some competition this time around. Can't beat RT and DLSS yet, but they are close.

Even so I think everyone should get an AMD card this gen. Upgrading is low cost compared to upgrading to an Nvidia gpu haha. No need new casing, no need new atx 3.0 psu, great pricing.

I cannot wait for next generation already, consumers will win

Looking at previous cards, retail price + 30%Asian markup price.

Judging by the price and specs, I assume 7900 XTX is slightly faster than RTX 4080 but still lose on RT and DLSS.

I m planning just for that. The last radeon card i owned was the 6990. now it's time to revisit back Radeon.
And my preference is for cards that is efficient and do not consume lots of power and generates lots of heat.

Ugh.. not a fan of that fan and heatsink. Doubt it can keep it cool under our climate without sounding like a jet engine.

Meh, Nvidia will counter back imo. They have 4080 12GB 4070 unlaunched GPU under their sleeve.

If the 7900XTX can actually compete with the 4090 at that price point, Nvidia does actually look very stupid at this point. Time will tell.

You guys shouldn't dismiss FSR btw. 2.0 is actually pretty good right now, not quite up to DLSS level yet but it's not far behind (and I bet most people wouldn't be able to tell difference without a side-by-side comparison). Besides that, FSR can be implemented quite easily compared to DLSS.
