If its Asrock Phantom gaming vs Sapphire Nitro, sure, that's worth considering. But why not wait till the refresh launches sometime in the next 2 weeks?
*
Usually Amd release the high end gpu 1st, so the high end gpu will be release in 2022.

But the mid range gpu will be release in 2023. Mostly likely in August to October 2023.

Asrock Challenger D 6600xt vs Sapphire Nitro+ @ 2.15k, which is better? I think this is better value than 3060 for this price so i might be buying AMD this time

Sapphire Nitro+ is the best brand for AMD Radeon gpu.

Saw Sapphire, Gigabyte RX 6000 refresh already in market. Somewhat.. priced the same as previously. Which is of course, higher than MSRP. I guess not waiting for the refresh was the right move, luckily..

I guess its pretty close to MSRP, considering it's Sapphire Nitro? Plus you can get like 15,000 coins out of it, assuming you have a voucher, too. That's like, RM150 worth? It is quite tempting to me..

Will drop further , when release Rtx 40 series and Rx 7000 series
If you concern about resell value , keep and wait for new gpu then decide again

Yea, but the 7000 series will probably only reach here early next year? If can wait, sure

But yea, thats the thing. 7000 series are coming and only now, the 6000 series comes close to MSRP. I remember when the 6000 series was close to launch I found a very good deal on the 5700XT Nitro+. But decided to wait for the RDNA2 and we all know what happens in 2020+..

I checked that card is actually below MSRP. It cost $770 new according to TechPowerUp.
One of the best 6800XT on the market. Damn.

In Vulkan. If you switch to DX12 in RDR2, the 6800XT get more FPS compare to 3080 whether in Vulkan/DX12. hmm.gif

Recent reviews from TPU. Check 6800XT number not 6950XT

3080
- You need CUDA for your work
- play at 4K
- use RT in-game religiously
- need NVENC for livestreaming

6800XT
- faster at 1440p and lower
- use less power (60w-90w lower)
- cheaper
- more VRAM

Finally starting to see them 6000 series at local stores at MSRP, or lower in rare occasions. Not sure if.. should go for it, or wait.

Edit : Just got Pulse 6750XT for 1.9k at Yes IT! Now I can sit back and relax for couple years. I hope.

Really? I can't find 6750XT anywhere near that price on Shopee/Lazada.
