Has anyone really tried using a 2.5mm to 3.5mm audio jack converter? Will the phone have difficulties supporting it? I'm thinking of getting one as I feel that the stock earphones are not really good. Thanks. smile.gif

Okay, thanks for the information. One more thing, I notice in the 'Configuration' menu under the 'Settings' menu, I can choose either Maxis or Maxis 3G for my 'Default Configuration Settings'. My 'Preferred Access Point' also has Maxis WAP 2.0 and Maxis 3G WAP. Does this mean I can use 3G or it's just a setting? Thanks once again. smile.gif

Hello guys, any idea where to get a 2.5mm to 3.5mm audio jack converter? Does those electrical chain stores sell it? My location is Subang Jaya. Hopefully I don't have to go far. Thanks. smile.gif

I've gone to Subang Parade a few days ago. No luck. Apparently, the sellers there didn't even know what I was talking about if I mentioned the phrase 2.5mm to 3.5mm audio jack converter. I had to slowly explain. When they realised what I wanted, they said 'Sorry, we don't have it'.'

Yeah, they didn't even know what I was talking about. Novacell sells the pop-port to 3.5mm converter though. Since some of the storekeepers were busy with other customers, I only went to those which I didn't have to wait. I was in a hurry that time. I guess I'll go to some other places and find. What do you mean by 'lala' stall? It's alright. At least you made an effort and gave me some useful information. Your review also made me buy this phone. smile.gif

for this type of converter.. u need to go to audio shop.. nt phone shop... i bought mine at best... cost me rm10... i think there's someone sellin it too at trade section..

to andyjyneo, i'm nt sure whether do u notice this few things on the old firmware:
1) icon on sub menu tends to enlarge when u scroll trough it
2) the side bar will appear as a long bar though the sms is 2 pages long
3) the blue led lits up quite long if got any event

the new firmware (04.71):
1) icon size remains when scrolling trough
2) if sms is 2 pages long, the side bar will appear as a small bar instead of a long 1
3) blue led lits up much more shorter time, in other words, they just blink
4) better music library menu surfing
