There is no T&C detail for this standard chartered bank one. unsure.gif

But the t&c kinda confusing me.

No 8 from the pdf file mention that RM100 cashback for activation within 45 days from card approval date.

In simple, meaning that I not need to swipe anything within 45 days, then I straight away get RM100 cashback?


No 10, The Reward will be credited to the Successful Eligible principal cardholder’s credit card account within 90 days from the
last day of the month in which the card was approved.


So the "reward" is regarding point reward or RM100 cashback reward? Then again is within 45 days or 90 days? rclxub.gif

That is kinda a "mess" and complicated of the sentences (either my understanding is poor)... confused.gif
Anyway, it is a time to terminate this complicated card (either early or late)

Normally most of the bank will excluded for this loan and government related transaction.
But what I know AMbank True credit got CB for ALL online purchase include TNB bill (by myTNB portal) and also online PTPTN portal.
Perhaps maybe try to ask again AMBank for double confirmation as I might get false information from ambank customers teams.

Oh, the one you are holding both card CONFIRM don't have CB for government transactions.
I checked from ambank online for this True Visa card (previously got annual fee, now no more annual fee with no conditions already) got 3% CB for online purchase ONLY (The rest nothing). I guess their sales of credit card drop too serious. whistling.gif

Previously I got inquiry to customer teams online purchase is it include PTPTN online portal and myTNB portal or not. They said have as long as under online purchase, but not use ambank online log-in to pay ptptn and tnb.

However, I'm not sure now still have or not. Because you know "Bank will change T&C without further notice". doh.gif

Hi guy, can you share to me is it SC credit card hard to cancel?
Previously applied the credit card, but the customer teams put the wrong contact number to me, causing unable to receive the Temporary PIN number.

I chat with teams and request to change the contact number, and then they say will call to office number for verification (currently outstation). However the problem is they already verified my personal details via phone, what is the point they call office number again? I don't know what is the reason behind. Since I provide all the details they want, they still want to verify again? Am I look scam? shakehead.gif

Now move to 2nd month already, I check but still the same incorrect number. Kinda chat with them several times, request to change contact number.
Kinda tired already and request to permanent terminate CC (I'm lazy to explain again and again puke.gif )
Last week request to terminate CC, and they say will contact to confirm to cancel the card.

But the point is how they contact to confirm cancel the card? doh.gif

Can somebody share normally permanent terminate CC take how many working days? Any immediately possible?

Never mind, this time won't give chance "forever". Keep abuse chances n tolerance of cust cannot accepted.

Anyway since bank did not learn n improve. Then we also won't accept n give chance their product n service.

But read from the T&C, "Eligible Customer must spend at least RM 2,000 on their approved SCB Credit Card within 60 days from the credit card approval date"..

Hi guy, I just cancel for the supp and JOP card.. And I request for the official release letter to proof that the card has been cancel..

But the cs say that there is no letter for it, but provide me the reference number.. Then they straight away can found it the status for the card..

Is it the bank procedure like that?

Seems like no choice I need to create online for CCRIS..

Sometimes not so convenience as CCRIS kiosk not available for all the state..

Hey guy, is it true that once I get the card, then at least need to hold 6 months then able to cancel the card?

I receive straight away 4 cards including supp card.. The supp owner also don't want to hold credit card because ntg benefit for him except I want to hold cb mastercard.

Can somebody advice to me is it possible can immediately cancel the card once I receive the cards?

If they want to earn commission, then they still can earn it as I got activate 1 card only.. No point I'm holding so much card unless they straight away waive the SST per card for me.

Ya, I know basically how they play around for commissions.

Previously I wanna to take CB card, then agents say then compulsory must take visa platinum (benefit for earn point only if swipe the card) and compulsory to take supp card.

No choice end up I apply because my purposes only need CB card.. So once I receive those extra 3 cards, then call cs to cancel for it..
After this time, then they do a lot pattern patter, which delay for the cancellation card.. shakehead.gif

I got inform the bank..
But you know lah.. Bank will say for confirmation cancellation need submit report to credit card retention teams.. Then, they will call you for confirm to cancel credit card. OR either they offer something else..

From first week of this month, I request to cancel credit card.. Then the retention teams keep delay until last week call me for confirmation credit card. They say will cancel credit card within 5 working days.. So means until today the online banking should be disappear already. But once I login, still can seems like useless card at there..

So I call this morning to check the status, request mark as urgent seems promise me to cancel card within 5 working days. After 1 or 2 hours, I receive a call from retention teams to double confirmation credit card. Then again they say will cancel card within 7 working days (from now on..) shakehead.gif

Walao.. Really non-sense already keep delay and delay for this.. puke.gif
