no issue to change.

scb have specific dates for your card's current statement date. you can't select any dates.

however, after you changed (to new date), you can get different dates that were previously unavailable.

try again later with different cs

can try asking CS, see what are the available dates for you (now).

hmmm different than my experience

mine was like this

first assigned 19th --- available dates: 10, 14, 16, 18 --- so, i changed to 10
from 10th --- forgotten the dates --- i changed to 8
now 8th --- available dates: 1, 2, 4, 6, 30, 31 --- no change for now

just curious: what's your expectation?

if not mistaken, it seems to have certain dates before & after your current statement date.

there could be logic depending on which date you're on now

will try contact cs next week and see what are the available dates again


for current rm2.3k spending, you can never earn rm30 cashback.


spend RM200 more to meet min spending of RM2.5k (15% tier, RM60 capped cashback)

if spend 200 more on bigpay/online, max would be rm30

if spend 200 more on autobills/petrol, max cashback would be rm60

which scb card?

dont confused between mode of payment and MCC.

mode of payment (how it's being paid) vs MCC (mechant's nature of business)

example:

mytnb app/web portal = online mode, but Utilities MCC

tesco online = online mode but Groceries MCC

good that they honor it, but this issue will still occur if they dont fix the logic (where Time/others doesnt fully meet the autobil criteria, not just MCC alone).

you might want to contact CS to check.

getting max rm25 cb mean total eligible spending not hitting rm1.5k.

from your list, some could be not eligible.


curious: what are the common transactions for the past 3 months?

since you mentioned Jompay....

the problem with "auto-debit" is the execution of it.

there are few common solutions giving "auto-debit" or "recurring" payment features, but differs in execution.

this is why SCB is very specific on the criteria to detect "autobill/autodebit/autopay" transactions.

whatever it is, users should read the respective t&c in full.
