So I just paid my credit card through maybank 2 u. When I check my standard charter card balance it doesn’t deduct although I use instant bank. Is it normal?

Checked online banking and AF charge got reversed, but it'll only be reflected in next statement (June). 

Because it was the last item charged in my May 2019 statement, I was told that I can pay current statement balance minus RM250. Can I really do that, or do I pay the full amount as per statement just to cover my butt/don't get charged interest and what not?

First time got outstanding charges from bank.

Example
Statement rm1.5k, paid 1.4k before due date and short of rm100.
The interest was charge base on statement rm1.5k but not short payment rm100......
Is this correct way to calculate?

Hey tifosi, how did you find out that it got tagged under MCC 8999? I tried calling the customer service to ask for the MCC of a similar health related transaction and they told me that they can't check from the system and that I have to go and ask the merchant myself.

It's not really an acceptable answer for me but I didn't pursue it further, I was already exhausted from being on hold for over 20 minutes while they checked with their manager (and getting disconnected once and having to explain my request all over again).

Both my JOP n WM's not yet charge AF n SST (July month expire cards). I just called SC on 15 July to cancel then they asked me why. I just told them due to AF n SST. The officer immediately offer AF waived n RM50 cashback by end of September.

I thought SCB calculates cash back based on transaction date?
I had few times transactions were performed on the last day of the month and posted in following month, still got my cash back.
