(RM60 * 12) - RM250 AF - RM25 SST = RM445 / RM30,000 = 1.48% pa.
You need to calculate annual profit rate for a more accurate picture as the AF and SST plays a big part at the end of the year.
Therefore I declare SC JOP as one of the lousiest card out there right now after July 2019.

Try call cs after charged AF, they have been kind enough to waive my Worldmile mastercard for 6 years+

Hi, maybe your case is very similar to fruitie as per her statement below? By the way, may I know if you pay the full outstanding amount, statement amount or pay some random amount every month?
I talked to SC sales team before, and they told me that my record is too clean in SC, so usually I will not receive any preferential service from the bank. I don't know if this would affect the AF waiver decision.
You just applied and already paid the SST, so why don't you just use the card and terminate it closer to your anniversary? Then it won't be wasted.
I don't know if what people telling me are real, that it will affect your credibility if you cancel a credit card too early. They said usually it would be better to terminate only after 6 months after your approval.
Whatever it is, it does not hurt to use the card for another 6 months because you would've already paid whatever you were supposed to pay even if you terminate it early. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

As for the luggage, it took them almost 3 months to deliver it to me (I believe it is due to the campaign period). They did mention that your spending will be monitored for the first 60 days, thus they will only verify your eligibility after the 60 days period.
*
I always called them after i saw AF charged on my statement (20 days before due)
They didn't question me anything and said I will see the amount credited back by next day.

So, by the time i do my statement payment, i just paid outstanding without AF.

I think regarding SST, just try call CS for RNG luck.

U might get lucky to have offer by them to swipe certain amount and get rebate.

Instead of daily see “can we waive SST?” sweat.gif

sorry bro, may I know why just 200 autobilling can get 30cb?
15% of 2500 not 375?  hmm.gif
*
Starting 1st July 2019

The revision cap for JOP = RM60 / month
which easily can divide into : Online purchase, petrol, autobilling

However, Online cap at RM30 eventhough we throw all RM2,500 (Tier 3 @ 15%) into Bigpay.

With the mix of petrol and autobilling, we can get the other part of RM30

Bigpay > RM2,300 * 15% = RM30 max cap
Autobilling/ Petrol > RM200 or above * 15% = RM30 max cap

I cannot maintain anything more than 5 cards at any one time. Too much work for too little returns. I could only maintain 3-4 active cards and maximise their full potential. Plus I don't have that much spending to go around more than 4 cards sweat.gif
*
Question : Do you have auto billing insurance?

If answer is yes, i think u might as well just switch to this card for auto billing portion.

JOP still good if u have more than RM200 insurance auto bill
It just same process to maintain the RM60

Only cancel if they really cannot fulfill the RM250 annual fee waiver XD

TongCN, I don't do auto-billing for my insurance. I opted to pay lump sum as it saves me a lot more than paying on a monthly basis.
Other than that I spend averagely about RM3k on online spending per month. And now this online spending portion has to be distributed among my other online CB cards (AmBank TRUE, UOB YOLO and PB QM). I could even distribute the spending amount into these 3 cards to maximise the total CB, instead of lumping RM2300 into JOP just for the RM30 online CB.

HelloFuture, I'm afraid that they would only waive if you hit the RM20k spending condition upon request puke.gif
*
Pray that they no see the RM20k condition but with 2.5k per month, 8 months actually reaching RM20k.

I'm a long time world mile (AF RM600) and all the while they allow me to waive even i never achieve RM60k per annual of spending (tnc) sweat.gif
My annually spending on worldmile also very minimal which probably less than RM5k

I remembered that day someone posted on the transaction date fall on holidays and weekends for statement date.

May i know how it works actually ? Lol ..

My statement date normally is 5th of the month
Previous 3 statements are 5th May, 5th April and 5th March

I have the installments in one of my CC and will get charged on weekdays before weekend
E.g. 4th May 2019 (Friday)

My previous autobilling (insurance) is MBB and charged based on my statement date : 6th of the month.

This round i changed my auto billing (Insurance) to JOP.
Will the autobilling works same as installments charge date which will fall on statement date or by insurance policy date?

Man, now u mentioned, it’s actually not look like “auto billing”

I just recently changed my prudential insurance charge to JOP and dunno will it entitle as “auto billing”
