Just changed to V12e2 for 270 per tyre. 215/45/17 for my toyota altis. Felt slightly more comfortable than my previous PS4. Haven’t tried wet driving yet.
Hankook Ventus V12 evo2, anyone tried this tyre before?

Pricing of V12E2 is coming down. Not sure if it is due to weaker Won or going to end of life.

just to updated
change my tyre 205/55/16 with this shop https://m.mudah.my/view?ad_id=75933124&shar...&share_to=other rm228 for year 2018 tyre. friendly workman and good prices all over the brand conti/goodyear/hankook. only downside an hour drive from my place. luckily have work near shah alam so went there. shop is empty with no customers as weekdays and place is out of nowhere new housing area in puncak alam. to note for this hankook it is as everyone mention if your car has less sound dampers for tyres its really ROARS. before this was using ps4. and i think easily 30-50% much loud noise coming from these. cant comment much on wet or dry as my electric power steering car has muted all the feel and ive drove only for about 100km with it. will update more once ive done some long winding road with it. |

QUOTE(wkc5657 @ Jul 25 2019, 03:32 PM) odd, had better refinement on my car with v12evo2 than the factory fitted toyo t1. I initially don't expect any refinement improvement because it is symmetrical pattern, but it performed better refinement wise compared to the asymmetrical patterned toyo t1. You mean directional pattern?Anyway Toyo tires are overpriced/overrated in general. Never seen Toyo wins or finish near the top of any comparison tests at all. |

So far done 2k km milleage with it.
-high speed stability feels grip and confident on straight and long highway corners @180kmh+ -Steering input feels super sharp than ps4 as if there is no play to the steering ( before this some 1-2% play before can notice changes in direction -to bad not a single chance to test wet performance. current dry weather and my luck driving on dry Weather after changing to this. will update more on wet performance if i had the chance. overall felt more confidence than a ps4 (as perhaps a bit more input to steering feel) on dry road. |
