No point breeding la. Breed already , how much you want to sell?? 5k-6K? not many people go to show ring. most buy for pets only. you breed top quality then people keep as pet also no use .keep dogs for interest lo, win lose not that important. Important is you love the dog no matter win or lose ma. Actually i dont mind selling my best pick cheap, provided if the buyer will campaign the dog in showring. Most people will tell you they want to show but in the end not many will do it. i would love to see someday my breeding of malaysian bred gsd get best in show. wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

ah chuan,

my male. i dont know if i post this up yet.

jieseak,

i really dont know how to answer this question. but tis is the question a lot of people misunderstand. i will try my best to clear some doubts. and some thoughts for you to consider.

championshipline- if the champion dog is in the great grandfather, is it still consider championship line?
- if the champion dog is in the father side and the mother side is all pet quality, is it still championship line?
- if the temperement and nerve is weak in the parent, is it still consider champion dog?
- is a champion gsd dog from thai, philipines, taiwan, russian and etc, consider champion or only from germany?
- how to tell if the puppy is going to be champion at young age of 2 months?
- how much is cheap and hw much is expensive for a good pedigree puppy? actually i would like to know more inputs here . for e.g how much is a normal working adult willing to spend on a nice litter.

1. local breeding $
2. imported from germany $
3. parents imported but pups born here. $
4. female imported while pregnant to male in germany. $
5. thai or indon import $

Looking forward to your inputs

My 12 years GSD suffer from Hip dysplasia since early this year, now he totally cannot move at all. I'm so sad and pity abt him. So can surgical operation save him and how much does it cost? Please tell me.

Added on December 10, 2009, 9:49 pmnever mind already since my dog has passed away peacefully on 10 December 2009 8.00pm. May blessing be with him........

sorry to notice this a bit late. usually for older dogs for large breed the owner tend to gives glucosamine to help with the hd. how much does it help, i really dont know. usually at 12 years, better dont operate. might be too stressful too. by the way, what cause the death? hd??

I got a GSD whose born last year December. Great dog smile.gif Overly friendly, but has a scary outlook.

The thing I'm puzzled is that... When we got him, he had 2 testicles but as he grew older, 1 of them went missing and now his still pees like a girl.

Owh well.. his still a sweet dog.
His name in his MKA cert is Love Bucket Shadow and we call him Ace.

hi,

so i assume your dog is around 1 year old now? when you got him, how many months is he? if i remember correctly, once the balls is in place ( 5-6 weeks) the ring will slowly close and the balls will not be able to move up or down anymore. which they will be in the sag. but for your case, i believe the balls could move up to the abdomen when the ring not fully closed yet. as for peeing like a girl, 1 year old dog still do that. so it is perfectly normal. so dogs take longer time to matured. love bucket shadow,, wow. what a name, i wonder who is the breeder? now time to show us the ACE pics...lol

usually age factor is the deciding force for dogs. an younger dog usually gives in. my male is twice the size of my female but she is still the king here. but you can see the play getting rougher as my male mature. hope no major fights. very nice pics. the first one really scared me. i thought WHY YOUR GSD LOOK LIKE MICKEY MOUSE?/ ahahhaha. i think i see a pond in the first pics? your dog swim inside?

guy... i need opinions... hahah

i work from 8.00am to 8.00pm.. do you think i'm suitable to keep a GSD? as i known they need accompanion..

how many meal they take each day?

i can buy a auto dog feeder for gsd therefore feeding lunch is not a big problem..

the problem is can i left gsd alone in my house when i go to work?

i damn interested in this dog lar... really dont want to miss this chance.. any suggestion or recommendation??

(p/s: no point to hire a person to take care gsd)

Hi,

do you work mon- sun? if you dont work on weekend, then i guess with a little extra time spend before and after work on weekday should be fine. maybe wake up a bit early and feed and then walk the dog at night. weekend then play more lo. i also work 9-6 weekday. puppy usually take 2 meal a day and once adult can feed once a day. if look thin then feed more. no direct rule for this. hope you realize your dream soon.

arwc,

zamp line is sure popular in germany. who is the dad? congrats.

fevercrash,

i believe the reason for the slow cert is due to manpower problem in MKA. I called to complaint due to slow receipt, they told me short of staff. i guess we just have to bear. hd problem is in all big breed dog, no one can 100% confirm if there is any hd in the pups even though the parents are free of it. if you see some ads saying that the pups are free from hd, pls ask them how can they be sure? any confirm data and studies done? truth is we can only minimize hd problem now maybe in the future, this hd can be weed out but definetely not now. it is the same with showline and working line. just my humble thought la.

soft ears is due to soft cartilage at the ear. most of this is due to genes. some gsd have both soft ears. some are just sott at the tip. look this up under gsd soft /weak ear , i bet you can get more infos. usually the ear must come up by 1 year old if not really hard so some insert foam or plastic before 1 year old to aid the ear. hope this helps. btw, tina: your gsd play with the basketball?? how many balls did he puncture already? mine love balls but puncture too many- i also lazy want to buy new ones. lol. very nice looking grass you got...

very nice malinois but too much energy to my liking. these are faster than gsd but the look not as good as gsd lo. my humble opinion only.
