Material & workmanship doesn't play a role? So during vp developer can just say its noting to with us, weather problem 😆. I’ve seen some without these cracks, some 10 year old property also dont have hairline cracks. But these showhousr are just built.. 6mo - 1yo?

Show house is an actual unit with actual material? Or just a unit which constructed with non actual material...later to demolish?

As said there are many causes to it, however it is quite common even you spot any hence nothing to shout about. If you'd purchased new properties b4, and it's due to poor workmanship, you can immediately see it during VP and lodge defect report and developer will definitely fix it for you.

More often those cracks might only appear after years. After all - the hairline cracks is something you cannot quantify or predict before getting the key. I don't think a house with 10 years old is with zero hairline cracks tho.

I'm an owner at Tropicana Aman... I wish i could say Tropicana Aman's quality/material/design is top notch...

Unfortunately compared to Gamuda, Tropicana is a joke... 100+ defects identified during VP and 200 days later still not rectified

Btw.. i visited Cheria, the guards with no face mask and no proper checking of vehicle too. Worth to take note this kinda sloppy SOP. Fyi.

They have an App for owner to register guest... then generate a QR code which you can pass to your guest to scan at the guard house..

Wow.. sounds interesting. Overall the guard house and the entrance looks great. Definitely a lot of fine tune needed since it just VP'ed. Btw.. I only noticed the communication panel to guard house in Cheria houses. Is there any general alarm included? Elemens definitely no.

Alarm, probably can use an app.. with a panic button etc. As long as linked to the guard house should be good enough. DOnt need extra infrastructure.

true, i did saw some old units without hairline cracks too... maybe the dev need improve their QC before VP..

You're either old enough to witness a perfect project in the past, or not wearing specs for any recent projects.

sometimes developer do a quick job to cover up the hairline. no doubt, could be poor workmanship due to rush conditions. personally i feel there shouldn't be any hairline cracks with a 2 year old house (said VP). hoping the best.

Yeap, i was told it could be due to the material used when they plastering the wall.. Somehow this type cracks often happened to landed vs highrise... Maybe dev can try to cut down the units affected.. I also notice such cracks with EW showunit (an actual unit), but in hidden place near balcony...

Not that their entrance is nicer then others but for the fact that there is a roundabout RIGHT infront of the entrance, which made it look like the roundabout is part of the entrance making it very grand/nice

If it comes with 2 tier is even better. Prevent tailgate and illegal entrance. But design wise its nice and practical.

None of the tropicana Aman A B C D so far has 2 layer gates... i suppose its a low density strata, if there is any tail gating, the security can spot/go after them.

Yup noticed too. My Taman used to have 1 barrier but some visitors proved to be difficult hence 2 barriers was introduced. Let's see how it goes
