QUOTE(Avangelice @ Nov 4 2016, 11:25 PM) they wanna get more bullets to buy all the equity funds they are targeting and I'm just sitting here just watching everyone get all excited over something I can't find myself to join Well, then that will give a spike on certain funds, but I will remain 30% on cmf33% balanced fund and 36 equity fund. |

QUOTE(AIYH @ Nov 4 2016, 11:00 PM) Could you explain what do you mean by that? Interest rate is a fixed percentage return on your capital. So, if you deposit RM100, and after 1 year, you get RM3 interest, your return is 3%.the percent change are how much the price increase or decrease over the stipulated period Whereas, "percentage change" is different, and this line describes it well: "the percent change are how much the price increase or decrease over the stipulated period". So now, as thread starter, it is your job to include all of the above into #1 so anyone asking the same question in future can access your nice summary in the post #1. |

now i understand. it is referring to unit price changes in % , not interest rate.
but which fund comes with dividends ? it is REIT ? how do we classify dividends and interest rate since both also go into buyers' pocket |

In unit trust, dividends/distributions doesnt hold the same meaning as those in stocks, refer to the 1st post but which fund comes with dividends ? it is REIT ? how do we classify dividends and interest rate since both also go into buyers' pocket |
