hmm.gif let the FSM team do the assignment for you to decide on the allocation for next year.
usually they will have a lists/article on where and what do invest for the new year in Jan.
from that list, due to the "filtered" few funds; it would make it easier for some to just flip coins to pick

lemme see.
brand new Sony laptop for her thesis work 4k
1k plus as a gift to her for getting first class honors.
10k worth of flights in and out of Kuching to Kuala Lumpur to see her on a monthly basis throughout our three years relationship
purchase a half a million house to plan for a wedding with her when she graduates (Luckily I didn't place her name on the house I'm not that stupid)
trips to resorts like redang and langkawi during her exam breaks.

so yeap all that down the drain until I saw a YouTube video of her and another guy in Singapore (he made a video of them as a gift and posted online) . I lost alot of money in trying to get a wife. lesson learnt.

Italy goes to constitutional referendum today.
Hope it won't create a big impact if 'NO' camp wins !

please browse through fsm and page one of this thread. there's a link that explains unit trust and the fundamentals of having a diverse portfolio then Google how to invest in unit trusts.

we don't take kindly to goose feeding here. no offense but we all went though the hard way.

okay weekends over. let's get back to business

Finnish FM pulling out 38 billion investment in Europe.

One of the Nordic region’s biggest asset managers is adjusting its portfolio to reflect a lack of confidence in Europe and a growing faith in the prospects of a U.S. boom.

Ilmarinen, a Finnish pension fund that oversees about 36 billion euros ($38 billion) in assets, plans to adjust its investments so it’s no longer underweight the U.S., according to Timo Ritakallio, its chief executive officer.

Looks like Europe is very unstable. Anyone holding TA Europe?

the ship has sailed. should have jumped in T+7 after the election results came in. right now you may be riding on the apex of the wave which may not go alot higher or maybe it will come down.

I still believe in Asia Pac emerging in a long run due to political stability and relatively younger population and workforce.
US is still very speculative. From what I can see, traders are still uncertain of what Trump and his secretaries will do when taken office.

the jump of NAVs is just abt 2 ~ 3% since election for these 2 funds....
if those that still believes the effect of Trump policies can be positives to US growth...then this 3% is just starting point.
if those that wanted in b'cos of the need for it in the portfolio.....does not mind this 3%
if those does not need it NOW,...will says let it drops another 15%
