Yes our India funds already made more than FD smile.gif and it's only been like two weeks lol smile.gif

All time high refers to US market not Asia market.

The 8th india index advanced 1.7%. The 9th advanced 0.2%, so can't expect the same level.

The Europe and USA are the big gainers for the last few days, consecutively.

They use cookies heavily, even for the mobile apps. If you are technical enough, you can choose to only clears all cookies belong to fundsupermarket, that will fixed the problem. Or you less technical, you clear all web data (which includes cookies).

Everytime they restart their web server such problem will come back.

Despite the advanceness of their web interface, they are still bugged with this. LOL.

I'll try clearing my cookies or cache on mobile. I don't want to Uninstall and reinstall the app and having to build up the watch list all over again.
*
For the mobile app, based on my testing , clearing cache did not clear the cookies. I might be wrong. I have use root to delete the cookies stored somewhere, then it managed to recover without wiping the rest of things such as watchlist.

The main reason for Chinese shares tumble is basically as below to prevent over heated speculating.
"China crackdown on stock purchases by insurance firms sent shares in Shanghai and Shenzhen sharply lower"

This government has a lot of unexpected pattern like limiting cash withdrawal at Macao which sent casino's shares down last Friday.

Just to share some news here.....

Lucky didn't instead increased it..
But seriously, they needs to reduce future.. Maybe to 20% like that..

Wont happen based on my analysis. AH has many funds in asia pac, if you dont like ponzi 1 switching to other funds is faster than hoping the fund manager shifting composition which overlaps with one of its existing funds.

Other parts of asia pac is also very volatile now.

So I think it is not realistic to expect ponzi 1 to change composition drastically.

If one cannot take the volatility now, switch to ah select bond.

I supposed the worst is over now for Malaysia exposed funds. At least for now there are some gains and some losses, not like previously just one way lao sai.

Shows that sometimes over active rebalancing works against the return. The Trump effect is something really hard to predict.

I think the duration that you are looking at is very short, that's why you feel that Msian exposed fund is not worthy. The truth is, ponzi 1.0 did really well beginning of the year by avoiding China and focused on south east asia. But if you are only looking at last 3 months, then yes, ponzi 1.0 paled in comparison when compared to ponzi 2.0 or US fund or india fund, but these funds sucked beginning of the year. The idea is, have some strong funds in each geographical segment and when one goes down, the other will rise to support

btw, even my KGF has IRR of 9.89%, close to holding for 3 years as well, sure, it's lower than before... but it's not that bad still
*
For me i dont depend so much on the funds' historical data. Many Malaysian funds were doing well previously, but those are things of the past. Worse during the Trump effect peak period the Ringgit currency is under heavy selling pressure and funds are moving out of the country, you just feel that it is a major typhoon or earthquake.

Our investment are too insignificant compared to those bigger ones. In addition, there is opportunity cost for keeping money in non performing funds.

I think it should be the same as any other portfolio. Just need to top-up and rebalance regularly. One thing, when stock market crash like 2007/8, don't hesitate to move large portion to bond or money market, and remember to move back to equity when things going from bad to less bad  smile.gif
*
When the market is crashing, how does not identify it early ? If we wait until it is fairly obvious, a large part of it is already gone. sweat.gif

Eunittrust model portfolio move equity to money market mostly
 We are raising our cash position across all model portfolio as we think that the US equity market current behaviour seems to reflect investment behaviour leading up to the potential tax cuts. President-elect Donald Trump proposal of a tax cut would be one of the highly anticipated event upon his inauguration on 21 Jan 2017. Thus, we are anticipating investors to partake in the profit taking activity beginning next year and similarly, other markets will also experience similar market movement as witness back in 1978-1979 (please refer to appendix page). As such, we are raising our cash to buy on weakness later on.

What you all think? confused.gif

The phillip money market is at flat RM 0.50 forever. Meaning this is only a place for temporary hideout. Might as well sell off them all, cash out and come back later.
