I'm not referring to buy that fund.

I'm referring to share the news of being selected as Fund of Choice for the Month.
*
Somebody already shared that yesterday. 1 % SC.

If you invest >5k, you could get 0% SC from eUT. innocent.gif

I remembered I increased allocation into US funds. My portfolio was able to recover faster than had I not did that.

The game is not over yet .....

If you follow the stock market trend, US seems to be in red for 1 or 2 days already.

nope only get credit point if you switch from a higher tier fund to a zero sc fund as seen here

https://www.fundsupermart.com.my/main/faq/faq.svdo?id=2001

Don't think a Giro account is counted. lol
*
Furthermore "switching" to a giro account is hardly an intra switch. LOL.

Maybe you can hedge that by investing in a US-focused equity fund smile.gif after all it is denominated in USD, if the exchange rate goes up, you will spend more for tuition, but the value of your holdings will increase smile.gif
*
So your prediction is usd will continue to go up against other asian currencies particularly ringgit ?

trump is a left wing populist. he does not follow status quo. He ignored state Secretary by answering the call from Taiwan. he told his voters he will demolish Wall Street. he reforms. he rebels but he also plays the middle ground by enticing religious right wings and anti abortionists. that's why he won.

Donald Trump is dragging the Republican party to the right. But he is also dragging the party to the left. Presidential candidate Donald Trump has been called many things — fascist, racist, jerk — but recently he's been hearing an unexpected epithet from his GOP rivals: liberal.
*
He is anything except liberal.

Topped up dragon fund as have confidence in the HK-Shenzhen cross border stock link.
Both SSE Composite and HSI drop today, so take the chance to buy some bargain stuff.

As at 5pm, 3 major European indices are up significantly....Good news, as the impact is limited.
*
Again you made the right move ! I should have jumped in too.

Who knows.. whatever it is, it won't matter much in ten or twenty years smile.gif

If everything we look at it this way, then there is no need for us to build a portfolio. Just buy and forget. LOL.

Exactly.. think about it, look at the chart. Even if you bought just one fund.. smile.gif  you'd have to be really unlucky not to make money after ten years smile.gif pick the usual suspects and run with them through good and bad.. there's no real need for a portfolio actually smile.gif
*
I wish it is so simple.

Let me just show you this chart, even if you buy and forget, the end result is very different for different funds.

And i am not talking about small difference. I am talking about huge difference.

Attached Image

If you have a choice you want to buy which fund ?

(Not promoting KGF here. Just to illustrate the point that simply buy and forget is not the best option. )
