Just go from V3.40OE to V3.52M33. You don't have to go to V1.50 first. smile.gif

Hey guys,i heard those limited edition PSP's are less prone to dead pixels. Is it true?..ya know the ones that came in blue, pink and silver.Or should i just called it BS?

Thinking of buying one if it's true(which i doubt it is) eventhough i'm not too diging the limited edition colors...

hey guys, I'm helping my fren to check wether his psp is fake or ori?

1.)his psp is metallic blue colour, at the back, the surface is a bit rough, very shiny n can stick fingerprint but my other fren's black psp back is rough.

2.) when his psp run pursuit force is abit lagging, but when running gta vice city is totally lagging like hell.

3.) Then he went back to the shop he bought from and ask the seller, He said its normal.

So i represent my fren come in here n ask. With the 3 points above is that PSP fake?

Thanks in advance.

i'm new to this....

looking to get a portable gaming device to pass my time while on the go. IIRC, psp slim should be out in a month. My question is, is psp worth getting compared to NDSL? If yes, should i wait for the slim version? Wiki says it can't run homebrew.

Any idea how much the slim version is gonna cost? about the same price as the old one?

Hmm, this type of questions are subjective. wink.gif
Okay, first of all, what type of games do you want to play? What do you want to do with it? NDSL has it pros and cons, same goes for the PSP. But since you're asking it here, I'd say everyone here will tell you to get the PSP. Yes, its worth it. thumbup.gif

The slim version which uses firmware 3.6, as of now, is not compatible to run homebrews since no one has it to mod/hack it in the first place (I think). But who knows, the homebrew community is huge, I think they won't have any problem modding/hacking/customizing the firmware. But how soon? That I'm not sure.

So, the question is now the fat one or the slimmer one? If you can't tahan, get it now. If you can wait and you also need the extra feautures on the slimmer one, do wait for it. Or you can get a fat one, and later on, sell it and buy the slimmer version when it is capable of running homebrews.

Usually in Malaysia, it will be a lil bit expensive compared to the bigger ones. If you want to get it, I suggest you get it from Bernard.

check the MSPD.
is your friend with the black psp using a smaller high speed MSPD?
if so,that is the cause of it.
also check if the files are CSO or ISO.

if you're running on UMDs,then that lagging problem is really weird sweat.gif

Both are rough? I assume u wanna say that at the back of blue PSP it is as same as the front...not rough. It is normal for blue, gold and silver PSP. Dont know about pink one. For white and black PSP...its a bit rough at the back.

It is normal if u play downloaded games of mspd. Some of games may lag like hell. Try increasing the PSP speed to 333mhz or buy the UMD.

As he said...its normal. BTW i think there are no such things as fake PSP. Only accessories (mspd, headphone etc) are well known to be fake.

All sifu/master/guru please correct me if i'm wrong....

Yup, I second that. I don't think there are any fake PSP.
How bout recons/refurbished? Is it available?

GTA series for the PSP, if you're running it from MSPD, yup, it will lag like hell even 333MHz. So, bottom line is, use the original UMD and not the backups wink.gif

Yea..the UMD loading speed is slower than games in mspd. But in game....seem like UMD game got no lag (experience from GTA LCS UMD) compare to GTA LCS in mspd. I dont know how to explain...try it ur self. Hehehehe...
