QUOTE(pmsoo @ Sep 13 2007, 05:15 AM) Sorry if this is a noob question, is there any way to use the old psp for videos on tv? 2 ways:the new line of psp slim comes with a tv out port but how about the old psp? 1) buy this: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « 2) use homebrew transmit your psp lcd display to your pc monitor. i forgot the homebrew name. |

err...no idea why Ninja lead me to this thread to ask this...but I got no choice.
I've only started playing Test Drive Unlimited recently and notice that the game lags sometimes during a race. Anyone else experienced this problem? This post has been edited by young_soul: Sep 13 2007, 04:41 PM |

What race was it? I used to play TDU for awhile. But only for awhile. But I think I didn't get any lags. What is the speed of your CPU? Mine is at 333MHz.

I think the default is 222MHz. Try changing it to 333MHz via VSH menu. (In the main menu, press home)

QUOTE(mfa333 @ Sep 13 2007, 03:29 AM) its different if u plug into hdtv since ps2 native resolution only 480i but, psp can output 480p. 480i and 480p just a frame rate.. how it draws the image on the screen per frame... but graphic the quality still remains the same.psp still not comparable to ps2. if u compare ps2 on tv and psp on its screen, surely ps2 win without a doubt. |

Is it because of the texture packs? I mean, obviously PSP has to use smaller texture to fit it into the 1.8GB UMD. Right?

yup.. limitation of the umd itself and the device processing power. but it is still the best graphics for handhelds.. none can beat it.

Yo hi all Pros.
I am now currently studying in Melbourne, saw the very nice game of PSP especially FF7:CC and makes me wanna get one psp too. Understand that current latest Firmware 3.52 couldn't be downgraded yet, and hopefully there will be one soon. Melbourne is starting to sell all PSP in Slim version already, can hardly find the FATTY PSP now. And if you found one and i believed that is 3.52 version that couldn't be downgraded now. My question is, Should i just grab one FATTY 1st and wait for the cracked custom firmware for 3.52? Coz sooner or later i think all FATTY in AUS will kena kill lo. Thanks for your respond~~ |

Why would u go for the fat one? Get the slim one since 3.60 CFW is available.
