Anyone try to active volte on Maxis line? Getting the "this mobile network has not been certified by the carrier for volte" warning. Does it work for you?

Pretty much all Maxis Postpaid customers are in MaxisONE Club Select now, so no. Select customers hardly get any special privileges nowadays.

Elite and Elite VIP customers still get some preferential treatments these days. Perhaps not as good as last time because early on they were super accommodating. Then again this probably has to do with some rookie customer care agents that simply tell you something they don't know themselves, which result in a lot of misinformation. The problem is usually resolved after you speak to a manager in the call centre.

And numbers tagged to Elite status may be accessed by manager only. So there is less chance of your details getting misused. The downside is to this is, none of the Maxis partners have access to your account. So you may walk-in to a Maxis Centre but it's actually just a partner store, they won't be able to pull up your account information in the system. Keying-in your IC number will be greeted with an error message too. Counter bill payment at all Maxis partner stores are not possible for all numbers tagged to Elite status either.

i really hate it when they pluck out the 'maxis recently change the terms' card.

Anyone experience lousier signal after upgrading to iphone 12?

I am at kampung, but usually with my ip7, I at least get 2 bars of 4G... occasionally will drop to 3g, but will mostly maintain at 4g.

But after changing to IP12, the phone usually will stay at 4G only after i insert the simcard, after a few minutes, it changed to 3g (80% signal), and maintain at 3g... it just dont want to switch to 4g.

I know the exact position in the house to get the most stable line with my ip7, but it seems ip12 choose to use the more stable 3g instead of 4g...

Any solution to this? is quite frustrating, because I end up still using my iphone7 now...

Once you changed, the new eSim or maybe a new sim card the warning is disappeared. Yesterday I just changed to eSim and noticed that the warning is gone.

You can try toggling it and I don’t think the warning will pop out. Most likely Maxis is updated.

Forced to do bundle purchase in order to boost their sales I supposed.

Maybe some branches are doing ok to survive only compared to those larger centre.
