I already gotten my leave approved on the 8th to go queue at maxis centres, hahaha. Now, I’ll probably just need to be at home and wait for the phone

Yeah, 3 years instalment for anything is long - unless it’s a car, hahaha. I remember Courts Mammoth used to offer up to 5 years instalments!

There will be stocks available for walk ins but be sure you identify actual maxis centres vs maxis exclusive partners, i.e. dealers. If you’re in the Klang Valley, you can target the flagship outlets that will probably carry more stock - KLCC, Gardens, Pyramid, TTDI and IPC. Mind you, the queue there is usually long.

And here’s the kicker: if you really need to pay in instalments, you can actually request to do so at the maxis centre while buying at the contract price - so Zerolution serves a very small and niche crowd, like those who do not have any credit cards or those who actually can claim device prices from their company via the phone bill.

Ah, OK, yes, that’s unfortunate. Zerolution works for you then! I also have my iPad Pro and Watch Series 5 on Zerolution with maxis - coz that’s the only way I can subscribe to their tablet and Watch plans so it’s all not that bad!

Malls will be difficult, as they will be subject to the management’s guidelines and it’s especially tougher now with Covid SOPs. I’d suggest you go to the branches in shop lots like TTDI or Klang.

I remember threatening to port out during that whole fiasco but I know I won't do it coz at my housing area only maxis line is decent, have tried Celcom, DiGi and even U Mobile, hahaha... That's why every time my contract with them ends I gladly sign another one.. it's not like I'm going anywhere (and maybe they also know this already by now!)
