Today i was in klang maxis and the staff check using her ipad. I was overjoy when she said that there was stock in here and then when she ask me to go to counter to sign up, another staff told me no more. I said the front desk told me got and you told me otherwise ? And then he said that it has been reserve by somebody else.
*
You should just ask the staff bring the box out to the counter. What a pity
But you can also ask the staff to call you once restock and maybe buy him/her a coffee in return

Did maxis just restocked the 7 Plus? Suddenly the 128GB ones are showing up in the realview page... but then again, could be an elaborate hoax to draw you to their centre only to tell you it's out of stocks biggrin.gif

I stopped checking it since I got my 32GB. Should be time they restock it since Apple Malaysia also start shipping out their units to those who ordered.

I still think you should call the centres before going over to avoid disappointment.

Does Maxis still handle warranty claims of iPhone or we are now supposed to go to any AASP like Machines / Mac City to do warranty claims?

I think all telcos do not handle warranty claims on phones anymore, need to go back to the respective service centres, be in Samsung, Apple, etc.

you know, Maxis is the most stingy company when it comes to Iphone offering.

Other companies offering RM98 plan/ month with about RM1000 subsidy for iphone, but Maxis offers lowest RM128/month with about RM1000 subsidy.

One thing that never fails the amaze me is that people are still going back to them even after complaining of pricey plans and uncompetitive packages. rclxub.gif

beats me too.

I seriously don't understand it either.

Now with Zerolution , one needs to be careful about buying second hand maxis set. I gave up my desire to purchase a 2nd hand iphone SE after i found out it was on Zerolution package.

If the original seller defaulted on their Maxis Zerolution commitment, that Iphone is bricked in Malaysia. Maxis will lock the IMEI, rendering it useless.

The only good thing about Maxis is their superior network quality and coverage.

Its the same with other Telcos offering the same packages. You have to be careful when its a Telco set. But having said that, there is no way you can check if it is a Telco set or not unless the seller can present you with a receipt for it.
