you know, Maxis is the most stingy company when it comes to Iphone offering.
Other companies offering RM98 plan/ month with about RM1000 subsidy for iphone, but Maxis offers lowest RM128/month with about RM1000 subsidy. |

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Nov 21 2016, 11:15 AM) One thing that never fails the amaze me is that people are still going back to them even after complaining of pricey plans and uncompetitive packages. beats me too.I seriously don't understand it either. Now with Zerolution , one needs to be careful about buying second hand maxis set. I gave up my desire to purchase a 2nd hand iphone SE after i found out it was on Zerolution package. If the original seller defaulted on their Maxis Zerolution commitment, that Iphone is bricked in Malaysia. Maxis will lock the IMEI, rendering it useless. |

as long as customers are willing to pay extra for maxis service, maxis will continue to increase the prices of their commitment fee , and reduce their subsidy for Iphones.
It was RM100 (i value plan 1) few years ago, now they increase to RM128/month. well, not my money ....just saying |

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Nov 21 2016, 11:24 AM) Its the same with other Telcos offering the same packages. You have to be careful when its a Telco set. But having said that, there is no way you can check if it is a Telco set or not unless the seller can present you with a receipt for it. I think not. Digi has already charged the full price for the Iphone set during sign up, and the 'subsidy' is actually reflected on the discounted monthly fee over 24 months. So, even if customers defaulted on monthly payment, DIgi does not lose money on the Iphone (they already got the money from Credit card company). |

QUOTE(attw @ Nov 19 2017, 12:38 PM) Yeah, dunno why need to have that balance transfer clause. I Treat my credit cards like charge cards, no balance one. So definitely won’t qualify, ha ha. i briefly read it, may miss something but got the impression that need to get 2 cards, and the cards have annual fee - which are waived on first year.2nd year, need to pay annual fee but got some waiver clause , need to check on each cards - zzzzz.
